Iraq can have their game against Mexico, but they're not preparing for a World Cup and the rest of their opposition is usually garbage.

Actually Iraq has 4 scheduled friendlies.

Mexico on November 9 & Ecuador on November 12 both games to be played in Spain.

Costa Rica on November 17 & Venezuela on November 21 both games to be played in Iraq.

I wonder how much of the money spent on such friendly matches came from Iran's Beytolmal?

It will be Iraq's first encounters with Ecuador, Costa Rica and Venezuela. Their second with Mexico, last they faced them was at 1986 World Cup.

Honestly I am happy with friendly with Nicaragua, it is the first encounter with such team which is always good for Team Melli to face new opponents than face regular or familiar opponents such as Syria, Qatar, China, etc.

Nicaragua lost 1-0 to Ghana and 2-1 to Qatar in September and October friendly matches, so they are no pushovers.

Especially considering that we struggle to arrange friendlies and the protests currently.

They probably arrived early to rest and adjust jetlag
and perhaps do some touring around as this is probably
one holiday destination they never contemplate on. But to pay
for their food and accommodation is unfair unless they received
a total sum of money for playing TM.
