I did not watch the game. I just watched the 5 minute or so highlights and some photos. I gather that it seems that Amiri (being Captain) and Torabi (Goal Scorer) were the only players who were trying hard to win and also sang national anthem. I really would like to see the entire team just stand silently in the World Cup during anthem. How can Torabi and Amiri be convinced to stand silent before the matches? It would have been better if FIFA had postponed the tournament to a different year. I can see that Team Melli players are struggling to put themselves in the right mindset to play Football, I guess fans are struggling as well not really in the mood.

Honestly whatever I've tried to get myself in the mood for World Cup has so far failed. The western countries hypocrisy behavior towards the host nation Qatar created a lot of negativity, then came the calls of ban on Team Melli followed by Iran's situation during the past two months, top of all that I haven't had a good couple of years as well. Every World Cup I would buy a magazine that has all the team profiles and schedule, I would watch many matches live on TV and fill the results on the schedule and try to predict for myself who which teams will go to round 16 etc, also listen to World Cup songs. However this World Cup even listening to World Cup songs failed to get me excited.

I will see if I will be in the mood to watch Tunisia match. I was really looking forward to this World Cup, it's Team Melli's first time ever 3rd Consecutive appearance. I really hope that the boys will be fully ready and go and win for the People of Iran. It'll be very difficult in the current situation.
