Shoja isn't a good RB, he is much better in the center. I also think that it is unlikely / unwise to start Azmoun this game (at most he should be a sub if we are down). I think we need him ready for the US where we will play a more open and offensive game. The biggest thing I suggest is that I would actually go with a 3 CB system, similar to how Chelsea FC plays.

Reasoning between the formation:
- The England team is going to come out full attack, we need extra cover with 3 CBs, and height (with Cheshmi selected over Hosseini, and I don't rate Pouraliganji highly anymore). Ramin and Hajsafi are not that strong at defense, therefore they are in a wingback position. They are very athletic and adaptable to Carlos' strategy, their primary task is to get the ball to the wingers.
- The midfield Ezatolahi will drop further back to cover ground left being by the wingbacks, and Ghoddos will be the link up player between midfield to the wings / employ the long range shot threat of the team.
- With such a defensive lineup, we need creative wingers to get the ball to Taremi, therefore I have gone with Gholizadeh and Jahanbaksh and would not require them to get back and would soley focus on dribbles / crossing
- I would not play Azmoun this match, I think he is not fit enough and would slow down play. Taremi will be the speed we need in counter attack and can carry the same momentum / quick passes that Ghoddos / Gholi / JB would be providing.
Call me crazy but I think Carlos' secret strategy is a 3 CB system. If I am not wrong, we never once played it in any matches, until he lined up our team like that against I believe Morocco. I would line up extremely differently vs US & Whales.--------------------------Beiranvand-------------------
