Are you guys even sure its about that. First of all, its not sure he is going to be dropped.
And second of all, isnt stopping Azmoun bad for the government? Then everybody Will be more upset, and he Can post all kind of stuff. What damage could he really do at the World cup anyway? And its not like he has Been posting anti government stuff everyday anyway. It Will be a Big own goal if the government do this. The other players Will maybe support him and post all kind of stuff. These are much bigger damage than what Azmoun could potentially do at the World cup. Besides, I Think he Would concentrate on the tournament more than politics anyway.

I wonder how pfdc members will respond now if Queiroz is not able to single-handedly take on IR (which is very likely), and Azmoun is crossed off the list.

Regardless,I dont think CQ would ever accept someone else to interfere on his decisions. If it had been Skocic, that would be no problem but CQ would rather resign than accept this.

He is ready for at least minutes - the injury is better, he has been in individual training for over a week now and his fitness has been improving considerably.

The next 24 hours will be fireworks, can Queiroz battle the entire might of Islamic Republic? I don't think he can... I hope he threatens resignation.

This is a litmus test for the world cup, if he is able to take Azmoun then there may be some hope that it isn't used as a PR exercise for IR.

I doubt Sardar would be crossed because of political reasons, there are a lot of TM-Players posting support for the protesters, JB, Ghoddos etc. and I'm also super sure, CQ would resign immediately if he is forced to kick Sardar out of political reasons. If Sardar is out, then it's just based because he is not ready, Xabi Alonso also said two days ago, Sardar is not ready. We all don't know how really his condition is, maybe he would be an option, if we advance and I guess CQ wants to see if Sardar is an option or not, he won't take him to Qatar just for support, he will surely take a player who can play.
