Again you really think at the last minute all of a sudden out of nowhere a major announcement got delayed bc of an injury status????

ebrahimi situation has been monitored and assessed the last few days, TM doctors already ruled him out. same with sayyadmanesh who hasn’t even started full training yet……again I’m not sure why you’re trying to avoid admitting the very obvious occurrence.

    First of all, thank you.

Second, I found it odd to think that CQ, a guy who releases lists late, doesn’t like press conferences, and is ultra conservative, is going to hold back inviting Azmoun because someone said so.

The regime is dumb, but they are very careful in their battles with high profile people. Azmoun isn’t some poor person from a village with no profile they can just kill and forget about.

right now quite frankly there are hundreds of tweets and posts in general online about TM by people who have no clue if a ball is round or square.

these are false intentionally planted rumors to distract people from actual issues in Iran. About Ronaghi who is going to starve to death, about UN inviting actual criminals for meetings, about IR and their goons threatening to execute protestors…

people forget these rumors quickly but just look at toddy - all people did is talk about a baseless rumor.

Thank God you and Essi are saying this kind of thing... the naïveté here is surreal. At least Nokhodi is still friendly and respectful to disagree with, unlike others who accuse people of fake news or ask mods to ban you. We may never know what happened today behind the scenes, but one thing is for sure and that is that Queiroz won't compromise

If he decides to call the 26th, I hope it's either Shahab Zahedi or Mohebi.

I also think CQ won't use the 26th spot. Maybe he only needed 24 players and therefore he invited 4 keepers so that they can at least train better? no idea..

Both would be great choices and offer different tools for TM - Zahedi is an amazing Plan B tall, strong striker who would be great against the Welsh defensive pairing.

Mohebi in a free role is a hustler, like a much more raw version of early Taremi and will keep stretching and being awkward against the opponent

                Hosseinzadeh would also be great

I don't see Queiroz picking either based on his ignoring them for camps, his record when it comes to picking forwards for his previous WC teams (with exception of 2018) and the lack of time he has had.

I think he will go for an unexpected Omid Team player

mohebbi was given a chance. He has been in all the PEC sessions and initial list. There must be technical reason CQ thought he was ready to affect games of that level yet.

Stupid if thats the case, Why not just fill that spot whit a extra offensive player for more firepower if needed

                      Vis vis is
4 keepers are this one reason.

                      CQ MASTER PLAN
                      Is
Niyazmand is by far best pk saver of the team.
                      CQ
IS THINKING PK SHOOT OUT round of 16
                      and qf.
Niyazmand will enter at 120th minutes
In round of 16 match to replace biravand.

                      in cq we love
                      in cq we trust

                        + :
                        - all the main players there.
                        - no sarlak, nourafkan, ghaedi, mohebi

                        - :
-zahedi exclusion. The main mistake of this list like azmoun in 2014. I can understand he don't want new elements that can disrupt the collective cohesion. But we badly need his profile.
                        - Hosseinzadeh not there.
                        - 4 gk is also a big mistake.
                        - torabi, amiri there but was expected.
                        - overall behind our players, the rest is the kind of aged utility players. Except jalali, we don't have young or really young players that could be exciting and break it there. I mean someone like Hosseini in 2018 or teymourian in 2006.

I think GK pecking order is:

                          Beiranvand
                          Hosseini
                          Niazmand
                          Abedzadeh

Crazy to think back a little over a year ago, it was Abedzadeh's starting position to lose.

Honestly I’m still gutted as the young player would have been Allahyar - the group is made for a player with his skills.

CQ was given the job late and could not follow Iranian football in depth to pick 2 or 3 of these young players - he had to go with players he trusted.
