    take aways

1 - the tactic we used for the Japan game was not appropriate for this game.
    2 - we shouldn’t change head coaches
3 - the changes we need (new generation) have to be pushed through the league.
4 - we don’t know how to defend. He’s not talking about defensive shape or numbers of defenders. He is talking about the act of winning the ball back. He bought up a stat that in World Cup 2022 we were 3rd as a team in terms of team defensive actions, but we were 32nd in defensive actions won!

I’m actually curious about what his plans are and if he can push any of his changes through the league. He bought up how bad our league average age is and looks like he wants to really change that if they let him.
So now we have a shitty coach, everybody in Iran suddenly learnt to be patient and want to give him time???

It confirmed they can't read between the lines

The issues Jalali is talking about are mostly not GN's fault!

I don't have any hopes for TM anymore to be honest. I don't want to be negative, but lest be realistic. We cant not invest in our football and expect to compete against countries that spend billions on their league, coaches, staff, world class stadiums, grassroots etc. The world doesn't work that way. Without watering, there's no fruit.

Hey guys! I'm really sad for our lost. But honestly what annoyingly more is to keep seeing Iranians celebrating the lost. Unbelievable how west media and Iranians who sit comfortably in Canada, Norway, Germany convinced this people that this players are the main people who should use their job to change the Government. That's just a ridiculous theory fabricated from who hates football in your country. In Portugal we never asked Cristiano to use his position to defending a party political. Doesn't make sense what this guys doing to this players. The main reason for unsuccessful generation is that Iranians are their worst enemies. Syria have political problems; civil war; completely divided!! But they still supporting players not requesting them to be in side of Bashar Al Assad or in the opponent. Iraq, under a war won Asian Cup 2007; celebrated and not complained about their players being smiling after a victory. Stop sharing hate. Sports and Political are not connected. They represent their people, not their ministers.

This is getting sad man. Why are you so dedicated to this guy? We had the easiest path to a title in our footballing history, and this guy blew it with playing the same squad twice, which him being CQ's biggest critic and talking trash, he didn't even learn from CQ's biggest mistake in the world cup just 1 year ago playing the same tired squad against USA in a do or die game. This is literally history repeating itself, and for someone who is self-proclaimed better than CQ he really screwed up in the biggest way. These two losses are probably our biggest failures in our footballing history. Maybe other than China 2004, but then we would have needed to play Japan in final in 2004, which wasn't a given.

Draw/win against USA in WC and beating lowly Qatar and Jordan to win Asian Cup should haunt us for the rest of our lives. CQ made a big mistake, and he is rightfully out of the picture. How GN makes the same boneheaded move one year later... and you're dying on the hill for him? Is he your uncle or something to give him such loyalty? For a chains off anti-CQ, you'd think he wouldn't do exactly what his predecessor he likes to shame so much did so recently.

It reminds me the brain dead coming to tv and saying we should stick with GN.

Why are you defending him so much? He was 24 not 23. He played LB most of the time bar the first half vs Algeria and Uae game. I also saw him get dribbled like nothing with Navidkias sepahan every game he played.

bit overrated indeed but shows good potential as a more of an attacking LWB/ LCM..!! definitely looks best pushing into attack than retrieving into a more defensive mode..!
kid is also relatively young ? and certainly seem to have a good head on his shoulder/mentality/leadership qualities..!
i wouldnt cross him out as a Left sided TM option till i see a few clearly superior to him..!!
