It's just a cheap way to create headlines and get recognition. She is not asking the difficult questions, she is asking the easy questions as anyone can take a shot at Iran and get away with it these days. Why doesn't she go to Southgate and the England players and ask them how they feel about supporting the "world cup of death" She can't, because she would get destroyed back in England for putting pressure on the English players before an important match.
If she really cared, she would ask about our players mental health, how the demonstrations are affecting them, do they feel safe? etc. She could then make a story about what's going on in Iran and how it is affecting the Iranian players, Iranian fans, Iranians in general. IMO, a story like that would get far more coverage than "player X does or does not support the protesters" And at the same time, wouldn't put our players lives at risk.
