It's just a cheap way to create headlines and get recognition. She is not asking the difficult questions, she is asking the easy questions as anyone can take a shot at Iran and get away with it these days. Why doesn't she go to Southgate and the England players and ask them how they feel about supporting the "world cup of death" She can't, because she would get destroyed back in England for putting pressure on the English players before an important match.

If she really cared, she would ask about our players mental health, how the demonstrations are affecting them, do they feel safe? etc. She could then make a story about what's going on in Iran and how it is affecting the Iranian players, Iranian fans, Iranians in general. IMO, a story like that would get far more coverage than "player X does or does not support the protesters" And at the same time, wouldn't put our players lives at risk.

the USA and British media have found this weakness and are bombarding our players with political questions every single chance they get.. to throw them out of their rhythm.

the regime (IFF) ppl are forcing them to singing the anthem , don’t acknowledge the protesters…

the protesters are getting mad why aren’t they wearing black or showing support for us .
they are in a very though spot emotionally.

if our players can overcome these massive emotional hurdle , all these ppl blasting them on their Instagram, WhatsApp, social media then they can win …

Our players are just sitting there on their social media accounts in the hotel room reading all these negativity, everyday it is something new someone else comes out and criticize them,
one day it was golmohammadi, then someone else , now vourhai
I really feel bad for our players. A few days ago, there was an article on CNN decribing the dilemma they're in, being under pressure and scrutiny by both sides, unable to fully satisfy either one. Other WC athletes are basking in the joy of the moment; ours are constantly being dragged through the mud--by the authorities, so-called (former) fans, and international media. Hopefully they can find a way to find some positives in the midst of this maelstrom and reinspire themselves. The present situation may actually offer them the best opportunity to advance, as the remaining two games are against good, not outstanding, teams. But the unknown factor is their mental state and the conclusions they may have reached as a group. (If "fans" are jeering at you, would you still have the motivation to fight? Hopefully they can rise above that and prove to the world how brave and forgiving they can be.)

I cannot understand the professionalism of this Lady. She even don't know what to say, she just keep saying "But this is a iranian..."

She was really just worried about being popular. and famous, she had the time of her life when she spoke face to face with CQ, congrats to the Lady

FIFA is allowing so many political issues and the Iranian national team is not being protected.

If Beiranvand isn’t starting tomorrow then who is?

I know Amir is most likely going to start because of his experience with Team Melli, but maybe it’s better to start Niazmand. He’s proven to be more confident in high pressure situations, despite warming the bench in Portugal.

Also, not saying height matters a lot but Payam’s height has definitely come in handy while playing for Sepahan in the past. He makes good quick last second decisions defending his net from what I’ve seen from him.

I don’t know, I’m imagining 1v1 between Amir and Bale, I don’t see Bale missing his shot. Despite Amir’s talents and experience I think Niazmand might be the better option here.

This has to be the biggest decision CQ will have to make for tomorrow.

This "leaked line up" excuse is utter garbage.
1- It's CQ. and Iran was facing the english.
ANY semi awake cricket fan would have predicted a bottom heavy lineup wt 6-7 defensive minded players and a sole striker.
              ANYONE.
              let alone southgate.

2- Lets say the lineup was perfect and somehow very balanced.
Leaking it has NO impact on the way the team played.
We played too defensive, too scared, too frozen in our tracks by CQ's own scared shitless strategy.

This is vintage CQ shifting of blame.
              shame on him.

Still going for Amir. Payam was a big disaster in the Cup matches here, in Portimonense. Amir have crazy things and decisions that no one can understand but in a good day he can be amazing. I believe he would be the best option. He's actually the most successful iranian GK playing aboard from all time.

Dont watch IPL, but the few times saw Payam in action in TM once and few times in Liga Nos , and he was utter shitt..!!

i dont even understand how he keeps himself in TM top 3 ..!!
Amir is da man for me ..! If not Amir, Id much rather give another go to Hossaini than to ever trust Payam in a TM game .... especially one of such importance..!!

Iran will win the Wales game. Let’s give them positive energy. We are underdogs. But we will make it the second round. Unless….

Abedz had wome strange exits lately, Hosseini did a great game pree wc, havnt seen niazmand play since his 6-0 game in portugal (not to blane for the scoreline)

Idk Niazmand maybe? Hard pick. Went for Abedz yesterday in the poll..

Bale gonna get a penalty, Abedzadeh gonna shout ‘chip me bro’ and then Bale going to sky it. The ball bounces back from behind the goal and into his face and knocks him out. Wales have already made their 5 subs and a concussion sub so they have none left. Then Taremi gets the ball straight away and those his classic chip from the half way line.

Amir Abedzadeh’s game is almost exactly like his dads. Good reflexes, confidence, good with his feet, questionable positioning, shaky on his exits.
