Japan will be hosting Suriname on March 28. If Iran accepts a friendly with Japan, my guess is the game might be 3 to 5 days before the game with Suriname, that would be March 23 to 25, so most likely the game would be in Japan.
FFIRI have been hypocrites, they refuse to take part in Kirin tournaments in Japan despite having participated in the past decades, yet it is OK to be at 2022 World Cup in Qatar with Budweiser as one of the major sponsors.
If the friendly with Japan goes ahead and be in Japan, then most likely the sponsors and ads are going to be non-alcoholic/brewary I guess, so perhaps ads will be Sony, Toshiba, Toyota, Honda, Mitsubishi, etc

Keshwardoost .....
We don't have ANY consistency and we don't know how to pass the ball. I'd take all those teams over Iran if I were betting money.
One other point...Bale at his very top form was nowhere near Haaland. The records Haaland will break Bale could only dream of.

Russia national football team can play two friendly matches with Iran
MOSCOW, December 22 – RIA Novosti. Iran’s Ambassador to Russia Kazim Jalali told RIA Novosti that the issue of organizing a friendly match between the Iranian and Russian national teams is being worked on – perhaps the teams will play two matches at home and away.
A friendly match between the national teams of Russia and Iran was planned to be held in Qatar or Iran in November, but the meeting did not take place. Then the President of the Russian Football Union (RFU), Alexander Dyukov, noted that the Iranian side confirmed its readiness to play with the Russian national team in 2023.
“We are working to ensure that a friendly match will be played between the Iranian and Russian teams in the very near future. This game will be another tool for the development of public diplomacy and rapprochement between our countries,” Celali said. Eastern Culture Center of the Institute of Oriental Studies of the Russian Academy of Sciences.
“At the moment it is difficult to say when the matches of the national teams of our states will be played. But yes, we have such a desire and desire to organize and make it happen. It would be good and logical to play a match.” your country, and one will take place in Iran,” he added.

So far the possible friendly matches for Team Melli are:
1 x Japan
2 x Russia (home and away)
This year, Iran could not participate at 2022 Navruz Cup in Uzbekistan. So if in 2023, either Uzbekistan or Tajikistan decide to host Navruz Cup for March FIFA days, then Team Melli if invited would have an option to participate which gives them 2 friendly matches (1 x Semi-Final, 1 x Final or 3rd Place Match). Based on availability of teams who can participate at Navruz Cup would be 4 out of Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Iran, Turkmenistan, Afghanistan, Albania (might not want to face Iran), Georgia, Kyrgyzstan (might not want to face Tajikistan). Azerbaijan, Kosovo, Kazakhstan are not available during March.

Over the past month, all your posts are POLITICAL, I understand, but especially when our players are coming out one way or another against this regime what else do you expect from them> To set themselves on fire live on TV? Who the hell are we to tell them what to do? Our female athletes are taking off their scarves, our former soccer stars are coming out, the parents of our CURRENT PLAYERS put out statements, our own players like Azmoun keep supporting the movement. The way I see it they are doing more than you and I...The difference between Ukrainian and Iranian athletes is that the Ukrainians can go back home and won't get tortured or forced to bs confession and have their families held as hostages, so it is illogical and immoral to put them in the same picture and demand precisely the same statement, everyone cannot be a Hosein Ronaghi. He is one in thousands if not millions. Are you a Hossein Ronaghi? Have you done anything outside of chatrooms and posting online?
How much of your own money have you spent for freedom????
You guys are sitting so far high up on the moral pedestal that the rest of us need binoculars to even be able to capture a glimpse of you
Anyways, go ahead and label me pro whatever you guys want.
We will enforce the rules!!! Yes, we all need to vent, but we are not each other's enemies. hijacking threads will only destroy the forums and will eventually lead to all of us quitting and giving up, now isn't that what IR wants????? (this post started the hijacking right after we asked to stop and the subject was moving on.......)
Your access to post has been revoked, you can send me a private message after the world cup to have your access reinstated. (it will be up to you to remind me via a private message) Creating a new username will result in a permanent ban.
Thank you
Let's stop it here please, each subject has its own thread
I want to publicly apologize to you. I was hot back in November because of all that was happening in Iran. You were absolutely right I should have kept my political posts away from the football forums. I actually hadn't seen the warnings about not posting political items here until it was too late.
I attended all of Iran's matches and supported the team with all my energy. I would even stand up, walk around the stands and encourage everyone to chant because the players needed support. I learned more about what the players were going through while I was there. I ran into a friend of one of the players and he told me the players were under immense pressure and that they are all with the people but due to threats they hadn't been able to show as much solidarity as they wanted to. What's interesting is that the black wristbands we all saw photographed on the players wrists before the first game vs England were actually black socks the players had smuggled into the stadium and cut up to tie around their wrists.
I also heard the players livelihoods and families were threatened. Unfortunately so many Iranians didn't seem to understand this and would bad mouth the players.
That being said I think CQ completely blew it. I think If Skocic had stayed we would have progressed for certain to the next round. Anyways hoping for better days for our team and country.

All besides beavis und butthead who remain regime supporters. And even with taremi I am not really sure. Regarding the other players, I totally agree. Even Sardar was silent which means a lot...
Anyway if this is all true, Amiri and Torabi have realized that their teammates have been threatened and still support regime. Really shitty teammates...

Amiri and Beiranvand were able to free 20 prisoners in Lorestan.
Other TM players will also be spending their bonuses to free other prisoners.
