We should use AC to prepare the next WC.

We should use AC to win it. It’s our only chance of silverware.

WC is several years away and we will use WCQ as preparation for that. WCQ is very easy now with 8 teams from AC going directly to WC.

Remember AC is usually 6 months/1 year after WC.
Each 4 year cycle starts with WCQ and ends with AC. We’re now at the end of the cycle, let’s finish on top before the next cycle starts.

If Taj had the good idea to give me the job, here is my (revolutionary) TM squad for the next friendly :

We say this before every Asian Cup (just like you were promoting with this U20 team that we all said was weak but you mentioned would win it). We ain't winning nothing, same story for 47 years. We will see a QF exit just like 2007 when AG led the team. Then some will be prideful and say we need "Ghaleneoi/Newcastle to do more work and have more time" ... Always the same cycle with TM (and TM fans).

It's always Murphy's Law when it comes to TM. Never forget it and you will not be disappointed.

U 20 team is different than tm.

Tm has a chance to win it all in ac. 6 ac semifinal in the last
11 events is good evidence.

Our problem is our mentality in do or die games. We haven’t had a coach in over 40 years who installs that winning mentality needed…

In U20 you saw yourself how we outplayed all the opponents in GS, but then failed vs the weakest opponent when it mattered. Again coach failed to send the team out to win…That team was good and would have won with a coach that had balls…

Ghalenoei’s contract is until AC (as far as i know) If he fails he’s out. The same should have been applied to CQ and we wouldn’t have wasted 10 years on that worthless coach…

Yeah hopefully he’s learned his lesson to not play cautious in do or die games… That’s what i’m hoping anyway!

Shekari is one guy I always liked. I think he is an old school prototypical 10. Only issue is that position doesn’t really exist in modern football. Now I must admit I have not watched a full game of his this past year. Has he adapted to more of a new style midfielder? Can he be a box to box guy?
