Not TM news, but shows the greatness of Javad.

"This is a totalitarian system whose presence people feel in their blood and in their flesh on a daily basis. And it’s one that does not grant freedoms of any kind, or accommodate people’s demands in any way. What is increasingly clear is that there is clear demand for change in the regime. What the people want is regime change, and no return to the past. There is a very real possibility of regime change." - Nasrin Sotoudeh

He was an absolute beast of a DM in the year he took osasuna sorta deep into Europa cup…!
shortly after he got a nasty knee injury that sidelined him for a year or more..!
after that injury he was still a great player & achieved much success in club & TM but his performance simply was never as good as pre-injury, imo..!
before his injury he was being regarded as the most likely successor to Patric Viera who used to play @ ?? Don’t remember now? But it was Some big la liga giant club…!

The injury really slowed him down, and took away his long range shots, but at his prime, he was one of the best players in TM history.

                        No
Mojtaba Hosseini would have been 10 times better

dont get how they couldnt get the deal over the line with him. He basically has been fielding a u23 team of sorts in peykan full of academy players and keeping them solid in midtable. Was the perfect guy for the job. Introduced khodabandelou, fallah, sabet imani, limouchi, mohebbi (other one) to name just a few.

I guess GN had a special demand for his old player to get the job.

I really hope that someone makes the right call for Team Melli to withdraw from the Jordan Tournament in October. There is absolutely no need to have friendlies with AFC's Arab countries. Team Melli should go after Japan, China PR, Armenia, Latvia, North Macedonia, Montenegro, Moldova, Senegal, Nigeria, Ghana, Cameroon, Tunisia, Egypt, Ivory Coast, Mexico, Costa Rica, Panama, Haiti, Honduras, El Salvador and many other African and CONCACAF teams.

Also it would be best not to play friendly with Saudi in September. Turkey has a free day in September, many African and Caribbean/Central American teams are available as well.

Iran football federation are very dictatorial, they are not open to feedback or suggestions. Whatever they don't like, their strategy is to simply block you from contacting or messaging them electronically. Before every interview or Press Conference, they even dictate to the journalists the type of questions they are allowed to ask and what they should not ask. I won't be surprised that some of them benefit financially by accepting participation at Arab hosted tournaments or friendly matches. Iran has no decent stadiums, clubs get suspended and some of those in Football Federation or Iran Football overall only think about their own pockets.
