Not necessarily, if Canada, Mexico & Usa are outside top 24 then only 13-21 will be in pot 2. We need to aim for top 21 to be on the safe side.

would any one be surprise if tm finish wc with 1 to 3 pts in a group like that and bounce out don't even make r32.....YES 48 TEAM WC IS WATERDOWN but is consider waterdown for elite teams .for teams like tm the only game our percentage is high to win

Actually, Oracle makes a great point. It depends who you draw in the end and 48 teams doesn't necessarily make it easier for teams like TM.

The situation isn't as simple as you seem to think.
