Absolutely disagree. Prone to mistakes. Often slow to react to the ball and is caught off guard every time I see him play for us. Our next best player is Omid Eb.
His hustle and pressing is tremendous. With him in midfield instead of Ali Karimi, I guarantee we would have beaten Uzbekistan.
I guess we can agree to disagree 🤷♂️

Literally our fastest central midfielder. He’s not the best technically but he’s one of the reasons we beat Wales. I suggest you rewatch that game.

A lot of our players have experience playing against teams like the US, Morocco, Spain, and Portugal and put out insane workrate/distance covered stats in those games.
Asian football is much slower, less fluid, more stoppages etc. I don't anticipate a 30 min shift as a sub for a professional footballer at Asian level should be bothering them so our second string need to be ready to pick up the slack and avoid defensive mishaps.
I can appreciate that some call GN a "result oriented coach" but assuming he doesn't expect our bench players that play mostly in PGL to help beat Palestine and Hong Kong at least is pretty poor from him. Should be keeping Ghoddos for UAE and the R16 game we play(against an Arab team) so that he is warmed up for South Korea in the QF. Nourollahi can handle the first two games

Nour playing some good football!
Second best in level of assist in UAE!
Yes Shotor land league but he is performing quite well and for CM in these kind of league if you don't keep it up, they never renew your contract!
I highly doubt GN includes him in final squad due to the issue they had in last camp!
But he is still one of our best CM and specially in a league that Soroush Rafiei at 33 still starting in Persepolis or kind of like Rezavand running the midfielder in eses!
In a turtle level midfielder he is a must due to his speed and transition!

- Adamo Nagalo highly rated 21 yr old Nordsjaelland CB in denmark.
- 3 PL regulars: Issa Kabore, 22 yr old Luton RB (TM value - EU 10 million), Dango Outtara, 21 yr old Bournemouth winger (TM value - EU 20 million), Bertrand Traore , Aston Villa fwd.
+ usual smattering of guys in france, russia/serbia, GK is charleroi starter, etc.

nice
I was hoping for a challenging test b4 the AC ..! 👍🏼
imo, quality & Speed is the cryponite to GN’s preferred supposed Hoojoomi team tactics & an actually intense BurkinaF friendly should provide that challenge in spades for TM , coupled with the vintage African physicality ..!
the Tournament really begins for us @ 1/4 final & GN should still get grasp of which players are ready to compete @ much higher than the bs group stage level of competition we are facing.!

"This is a totalitarian system whose presence people feel in their blood and in their flesh on a daily basis. And it’s one that does not grant freedoms of any kind, or accommodate people’s demands in any way. What is increasingly clear is that there is clear demand for change in the regime. What the people want is regime change, and no return to the past. There is a very real possibility of regime change." - Nasrin Sotoudeh
