"This is a totalitarian system whose presence people feel in their blood and in their flesh on a daily basis. And it’s one that does not grant freedoms of any kind, or accommodate people’s demands in any way. What is increasingly clear is that there is clear demand for change in the regime. What the people want is regime change, and no return to the past. There is a very real possibility of regime change." - Nasrin Sotoudeh

We have been following these players since they were only kids. They have brought us a lot of joy with two excellent WC performances and one good one considering the protests and all. We'll always get another chance to see Iran win the cup. But this is their last chance to lift the trophy before they retire and part with us. This is our last chance to see them win. I really hope our boys win, they deserve it more than anyone else.

Guys, interesting thing I watched on TV. Kanani has two bad knees apparently and so has had to adjust his defending. What a player. Even with these knees, and with the dip in confidence he's a beast.
And this is coming from somebody who disliked his actions and called for a 6 month ban from TM.

^ look at the foot of the Japanese player and compare with Azmoun's. That is the important thing which you can clearly see the Japanese foot is closer to the offside line hence it was not offside. And you are right about the arm too.__________________________________________________ ________________________________________

I AM GLAD IT WAS CALLED OFFSIDE if not Karim
Would of became alcoholic/drug addict for rest of his life. The amount of pressure he had to deal the with he would of broke as a man.
and tm if the goal was disallowed because Karim
Was on the field WOULD OF LOST the match.
Thank God for bad call for Karim sake
