What’s most disappointing is Allahyar not getting a single minute these past 2 games, and Hosseinejad not even getting called up.

Two young players (23 yr & 21 yrs) who are in good form with their clubs, and you want to masalan “build the future.” What a waste of an opportunity!

Especially since they play similar positions as the older and currently clubless players: Ghoddos & ARJ.

CQ had his flaws but he was excellent in scouting and integrating young talent into team melli. Even Jalali had his best perfornances under him.

I think the difference in passion would be obvious for me.

For the US I would be any other piece of a puzzle, enjoying money but not translating the patriotism over.

For Iran, I imagine I would be a nationalist menace during games like an Emi Martinez except trolling Arab teams

depends on the competition for the positions doesn't it .

If you look at the US team they are pretty stacked in the forward positions with Iran theres a lot less competition so easier to get game time
