biggest knock on CQ ball is that once his teams concede the first goal then by enlarge they are fooked and get nothing from it..!! i dont recall the last time a CQ coached team came back from behind and salvage something from game..? 🫤

We have tried that in the last 2 WC, it's not enough to qualify.
I hope CQ has learned his lesson from last 2 WC and adds something special to his tactics.

Depending on the group, a win+draw can be (and often is) enough to advance. What killed us last time (among other things) was the high scoring Spain-Portugal tie.

No what killed us last time was the loss vs Spain. The only team Spain defeated last WC was us and it cost us qualification.

This time England-Wales play on the last matchday.
I don’t trust England to beat Wales. 4p is risky, and will likely not be enough this time either.

England needs to win this game more than we do. Best to keep it compact. Iran-Arg game in 2014 should be a model. We could have won that game had it not been for the referee.

yea i guess..? we really didnt get anything outa Portugal very late PK tie... still got KOed..!!
and Senegal was just a friendly and the goal we scored seemed awful flukish ... sorta came outa nowhere ..! we were uncharacteristically wide open and haphazardly set up all over the pitch (i think intentionally so, CQ wanting to fool the English and likely american/welsh scouts in the stands that day) coulda well lost that bout 3 or 4-1 ..!

its a honor to play world champs....
we should not have any expectations to beat a team, which was euro runner up..
results they got after euro 2020 , was factor to matches being of non importance.
