Beiravand- man this hurts alot
hosseni - he sucked
Taremi - was Iran best player
jahanbakhash- he wasn’t consistent
nurollahi- ran a lot but without purpose
ali karimi- not TM material need to be benched
majid hosseni- awful , not Tm material needs to be benched
cheshmi - awful slow , need to be benched also
milad- what could he really do
mohrammi- no options
PAG- was decent but has no pace
hajfasi - no speed
2 offensive players 8 defensive player ,
this one is all CQ fault like he can’t really think that playing like this is going to help use beat wales and USA
all the halftime subs that came in need to be starting next game
gholi - could have 2 assists if Sardar had scored
Ezat - at least he had some ball control
kanani- needs to replace majod for next game
torabi- idk
azmoun- need to have better fitness but he was almost able to score

i don't know why Ghoddos has spent his entire TM career on the bench. he is technically our best player on the ball. his ability to hold possession and dribble resulted in the foul vs morocco that lead to the free kick which one us the game. i hope Beiro will be fit for the game. regardless, CQs lineup was absolutely disastrous and screwed us over from the start. i hope he goes with an offensive minded line up. TM scored our first open goal since 2014 and our first 2 goal game since 98. i feel this line up will be very strong, fast, offensive minded, with defensive capability. i wish our team the bestSHOW TIME!

- I’m torn as we need 2 x Amiri - one at left back for more defensive solidity and ability to bring the ball out
- However we need him more desperately in midfield for his running - that was the biggest thing missing today. We are not the same team without him leading the press. He can also provide defensive cover for the lb spot far better than other options in midfield
- I’d be tempted to give Jalali a start since I’m not confident in the other 2 lb options but we need Hajsafi’s experience and calmness in possession so I’d risk his defensive deficiencies given we need 3 points
- if he’s not concussed I’d prefer Hosseini’s aerial ability and front foot defending against Kieffer Moore and the Welsh than Shoja. I like PAG but he doesn’t look fully match sharp
- I’d start with Ghoddos over Nourallahi and look to do what the US did to them first half and control possession
- Gholizadeh a better option off the bench against tiring legs
