Wrong! the england USA game was setup. England was playing 50% bro. If they wanted they could have trashed USA easy

Regarding Iran england well there were many external pressures and plus beiro getting injured didint help. With beiro in goal england only makes max 3 goals.
The real score would have been 3-2 england

not bench ramin, but he needs more protection. I even consider playing sadegh on the left, US have very explosive right side too with Weah + Dest.

Surprisingly, Team Melli played well against Wales despite poor finishing touches and some bad passing.

So probably keep the same starting lineup.

However, Khalilzadeh-Kanaani were Team Melli's brilliant Central Defence duo, also Ghoddos is an experienced European player, I don't understand why these three are not in the starting lineup or not playing?

Jahanbakhsh has two yellow so won't be playing against USA, so who should be backup for Gholizadeh in Right Wing position? Would Ghoddos be a suitable choice?

Rezaeian and Pouraliganji both have one yellow each, so if they do start against USA they will be under pressure not to get their second yellow. So would it be better to have Moharrami and Khalilzadeh play instead of these two?

Also Amiri played nothing this tournament, if anything, he would start Torabi, not Amiri.

I think its part of CQ's plan (to keep fresh legs). I wouldn't be surprised if he starts 3 new players vs USA (Amiri, Saman, Kanani).

Gholi is in my starting lineup. He was a ball of energy today. Not only did he almost have an on side goal, he was pounding his chest and yelling like I’ve never seen him do before. We need that level of energy and passion if we’re going to beat US

He created 8 chances (including the final drive that led to Ramin’s goal) and directed much of the midfield!!! Just cause he didn’t score, doesn’t mean he wasn’t integral to the win.

2nd that. He was on a different level today. He was effective with his dribbles and was creating good chances. I know it’s cliche, but CQ needs to go with players that are hungry for the win, and today Gholi was hungry for that win.

I think a more likely line up against America will include amiri in the middle, we will play a 4-1-3-1 on attack and a 4-5-1 in defense with taremi coming back to help in recovering the ball. Sardar as always staying up to do the psychical job. A fit Amiri in the midfield give us that missing speed and he does go the extra mile always. I was hope the USA England game to be more physical, but the nglish team didn’t show up for this game.
