Why should the USA be better than us? They have some good individual players, but I don't think they are that special as a team. Germany also has good individual players and still completely deserved to lose to Japan. It's all about being a good team, withstanding the pressure, being dogged. We are not an amateur team, our players dominated Wales, something the USA only managed to do in the first half, we could well have won 4-0 against Wales yesterday if the two aluminium goals had gone in. The USA struggled to hold on for a 1-1 draw in the end. England played in slow gear yesterday, they know they shouldn't get too carried away, they're already squinting at their opponent in the last 16. In short, we are at least on a par with the USA and don't need to hide and are definitely not weaker than them.

You don't know what you are talking about. Objectively, if Iran plays at his regular level, stay focus, chances for Iran to win is about 75%. US is weaker than Iran. They have a few speedy players but they are inaccurate. We are stronger physically, technically and we have better individuals than them.

their facilities and training from grass root level is 10 x what iran has. We don't have proper preparation or friendlies like the americans. Sanctions has put so much pressure on us. We are the under dogs.
