Tuesday 1/3 meeting regarding tm coach.

I have a feeling Amir is our next coach. Unless of course we get a good foreign coach.

Lol typical CQ-fans making this about Skocic-CQ as soon as CQ is criticised.
And for the record, Skocic was a terrible coach.

Prob still better than CQ lol maybe on par with Katebs great aunt.

I would prefer to keep CQ for the coming Asian Cup, it would mean less drama and he already knows the players & the team so overall everything would be easier. For the future I think Vahid Halilovic (former Bosnia & Morocco Coach) would be good, he‘s known to be a tough coach that doesn‘t take any bullshit. Herve Renard would be nice but I think he‘ll stay in Saudi Gayrabia where he‘s making big bucks. Otherwise our options are quite limited unfortunately.

Losing to Bosnia 3-1 - sure you can blame him for this

Losing r16 qualification twice in the margin of one goal, where we were in the running until the very last match day - one time with half fans cussing their own team out

Lol. CQ has had 5 tournaments and delivered 0. Which other coach in our history has had as many chances?

while all those points are fair they do mirror some of the other arguments...such as ignoring how switching a coach last minute was a recipe for disaster. Ignoring leaving a roster spot empty and taking 4 GK doesn't help in a crappy situation and makes it even more daunting to qualify. Almost like ignoring playing back 5 for first time in a WC match and not practicing in the previous friendlies.

What these CQoolaid drinkers like to pay attention to is what works for them and they ignore the other poor decision making realities...

Honestly, we could have done different against England, we would have lost anyways.
About the empty spot, it is not like we left Messi or Mbappé at home. It is very far from certain, a guy struggling in Hungary or some donkey from IPL would have charged drastically the US game

Look what Argentina did, they used Di Maria for a single game only ? I dont compare to Argentina but i want to say a player who is that damn fresh can really help, dont you think Alipour or whoever could not help ?

Exactly! A team like ours with all our fitness issues and the need to rotate players had to rely on a less than fit Azmoun up top. We really could have used those 2 roster spots. Certainly wouldn't have hurt us to give WC experience to a youngster or 2.

I am speculating the same way you do, who knows if filling the spot would have changed anything.

The two extra spots (the empty one and the 4 st gk) could only be for Zahedi or a young prospect like khodabandelou. Zahedi is the only one would could eventually have an impact but he never really played with TM and is doing nothing special in Hungary. Ok we never know but the chances are slim.

Actually I prefer to have an empty spot than reward someone like Ghaedi, mohebi who represent the cancer of our football mentality, or sarlak and Noorafkan that sx big time.

Like said before France left an empty spot in its squad after Benzema injury while they had lot of useful quality players available at home. The coach didn't want to add a extra player that would break the team cohesion. I guess CQ wanted to do the same.

Yes he could play in the final but was left out because he mess with others in France camp. French staff knew really well he could play in the finals. Each time he was there France didn't go far, each time he wasn't there France went to the final at least.

Sometimes, team cohesion is more important than adding a number. From outside, yes the more you add player the better. From inside it couldn't be that straight

I'm hoping they lock up CQ for the Asian Cup and have that be his last tournament for TM regardless of the result.
I want CQ to have ample amount of time with this team rather than bringing in another new manager.
