"This is a totalitarian system whose presence people feel in their blood and in their flesh on a daily basis. And it’s one that does not grant freedoms of any kind, or accommodate people’s demands in any way. What is increasingly clear is that there is clear demand for change in the regime. What the people want is regime change, and no return to the past. There is a very real possibility of regime change." - Nasrin Sotoudeh

Sanchez is an astute pickup by Taj and co considering circumstances.
I like having a younger profile, ofc he knows asian football well and puts an emphasis on working with young players. OFC, some of the shit qatar served up in WC was pathetic, but hard to say how much he is responsible for that vs them jut being garbage. IT will be great opportunity for him to show what he can do with a talented player pool as well.

Sanchez is the best we can have. About "he knows asia football well", I don't know. I guess he know qatar well but except AC2019, he mainly had friendlies with qatar outside Asia. No ACL, no wcq..
Seems some Ecadour fans are happy he is not their coach, just from what is being said on Twitter."This is a totalitarian system whose presence people feel in their blood and in their flesh on a daily basis. i guess just about as good of a foreigner coach as IFF coulda realistically attain services of..!!?
far superior to any domestic option as well.... imo
he was coach of gutter for over 5 years .... so he musta been doing somethings right to keep from getting sacked a lot quicker than that as its often the case with rich ayrab bosses..!!
and already got more Asian title than CQ ...!!

I hope fans give him plenty of time to get acclimated.
I also believe he is a big proponent of youth. We need to incorporate some more younger players into our national team."This is a totalitarian system whose presence people feel in their blood and in their flesh on a daily basis.
