We won 3 Asian cups fro 68-76. Cq could only dream of doing that...not to mention back then WC featured half the teams so only the truly talented teams made it. Making it to 1978 was huge success!

WC. Those 16 teams were star studded.

Talking about the Asian cups...maybe. but we also had very weak teams now in AC. Kuwait in the 1970s was a dominant team...better than any Persian Gulf Arab side today.
