But but but people like Kateb were asking for a coaching change before WCQ were even done lol. When pointing out some of the issues people said their lord and savior CQ needs 1 minute. This is his team and he knows the players. 1 min and we advance from our group.

Comon man. People said this would happen but the fans with an agenda drove a wedge. Many of these fans cheered against TM at WC...

I would keep Carlos until the Asian Cup as we don't have enough time to build a new team, not enough fifa days either next year and regardless of our results, get rid of him for a young upcoming FOREIGN coach and give him 3-5 years to build a team. Regardless of who becomes our next coach, I don't think our team can do much in the next WC, we don't have enough GOOD young players right now and the core of our team will be too old by then (some already are).

Maybe you want him to score another hatrick in failures?

Which alternative has managed to mess up so many tournaments? The answer is no one.

Well we know what we get with CQ. No risk no reward. We can't keep punishing ourselves by hiring this fraud and expecting different outcomes. I would take a bag of balls over CQ at this rate.

CQ couldn't maximize players like Salah and James. You expect better results with TM players???

What did Skocic say about Rezaien? He didnt like his playing style? Right but CQ leaving a roster spot empty and taking 4 goalies is ok...basically telling guys like Zahedi, Alipour and countless others id rather handicap a team than take you.

I recall him saying he didn't like his playing style. Even if he said that he is the coach. Not the best way to handle it but it's his team.

i wont lie, you have points I agee with, im dissapointed aswell with some of the stuff the squad thing and so on and first game tactics + last game. hope to get a comment from CQ on those issues later on. and all the other stuff around and against the guyss really made it a strange wc. strangest wc and prep for wc i have witnessed involving TM, but overall everythings counted in, I thank him for cheshmi, rezaeian and the wales game, and those memories.

still support cq though, rather him anyday than no coach for half a year or someone who cant pick 25-26 guys and keep them united..

thats actually why I like our discussions, we dont allwayz agree on everything, but there is allwayz some of your points you lift that i do agree with in the end.

Risk their career, the hate of the so called fans, and having to deal with all the incompetence. U am guessing its going to be a vatani coach. Likely Nekounam or even a guy like Golmohammadi. Still better than CQ as it stands. IMO cq hasn't earned more time with TM. Results matter. We got none with him.

Best win ever was against USA. The drama of that match, protesters and MEK supporters in the stands, and the quality of play. Victory didn't take a red card sending off...so basically what you are saying is Skocic would have failed to qualify like CQ? Glad you have a crystal ball...at least we would have saved money rather than having a failed coach at the helm.

Our best performance in a tournament was AC2019 when we got to the semifinals. The last time we did that? 2004! When Karimi put the team on his back.

A team will only improve once the black & white mentality is discarded, and gray colors of progress are targeted. In other words: reactive emotion must be replaced with a strong sense of logical realism.

It is clear as day, the level of progression in tournament results and player development when CQ got hired the 1st time.

When CQ came in 2011, the team was in the NEGATIVE. He had to work hard just to bring the team to ZERO. We hit POSITIVE by getting our most points in WC2018 in world cup history.

I am willing to have bet money if CQ had never left us in 2019, that would’ve made the difference in us tying the USA, since the margins were actually quite thin when the game was over. We would’ve advanced to the 2nd round for the 1st time ever.

CQ has his flaws, but his theme is always progression. We need to keep him, or find someone better, or else we will be shooting ourselves in the foot (as we always do).

i respect that view, only vatani coach id go with is Daei and thats sadly rather impossible in todays situation. Hope to se him coach us at a world cup one day soon. we even played great football during his short spell but his inexperiance and state of TM when he took over being cochless for a while gave the outcome hugh impact in the end.
