The prob with CQ is even if he had in a Lamborghini he would still park it to save gas in a drag race. Dude can find all the talent he wants but if he is unwilling to maximize the potential talent then what is the point? You have arguable a chance to have the best Iranian attacking lineup in Zahedi, Azmoun, and Taremi but instead you play bekesh ziresh and leave one at home. Even if Allahyar was fit I doubt CQ would invite him.

Saam said that talents such as mobali, borhani, kaebi, navidkia, ando, shojaei, Kazemian, etc, etc. in addition to Shojaie and Neku in Spain, Rezaie in Italy, Daei, Mahdavikia, Hashemian, Zandi in Germany could walk into current TM which you all agree is a team that is developed by CQ's. My question for him was why could CQ not develop similar talents in the 8+ yrs that he spent in Iran? If he is not developing players and not getting results, than why did Saam like CQ? No coach in the history of TM has had as long a rein as CQ to develop talents.
Then you ran here connecting gooz to shaghigheh...

-Skocic in under qualified no matter how much he cries about it , he just is
-CQ is qualified but his tactics are outdated he not going to have trouble getting us to the WC but once we there his style of play doesn’t work ..
-Iranian coaches are just under qualified , the players act up and won’t listen to them
- the best coach is someone who is very familiar with Iranian football / asian football understand all the weakness he have , but is also modern and up to date with modern football and the players will respect and not act up. … the best choice with be

Just like with Holland that right now they have the worst crop of players they’ve ever had. They have a couple of odd good players but they’re nowhere near where they traditionally are. Is that because of their coaches? No, that’s not how it works.
You’re using a criteria that nobody ever uses to judge a coach. A coach picks from the pool he has and then sets up the team.
in CQ’s defense, as I said, he put the youngsters in the best position to succeed and hit their ceilings by encouraging them to go to Europe early and created a culture of ambition.
Regardless, I did not bring up the talent in the past to say whether or not CQ is a good coach. I brought it up to contrast how bad our player pool was when he took over, such that he did a great job to bring us back to our high level. That, combined with the fact that the rest of Asia has progressed as well since the early 2000’s, shows that he did a great job. That’s all.
and who said he didn’t develop good players? Are you ok? Who brought in majid Hosseini, Hossein kanaani, helped Taremi reach his level, brought in exatollahi. Everybody that’s worth something on our team can partly thank cq for getting to where they are. The fact that we have NOBODY NEW since he left, completely contradicts what you just said in the quote above.
