I'm hoping they lock up CQ for the Asian Cup and have that be his last tournament for TM regardless of the result.
I want CQ to have ample amount of time with this team rather than bringing in another new manager.

Even giving him the u23 team with Olympics2024 as an objective.

Remember they only gave him 1 year last time, in which he still managed to equal CQ AC2015-performance.
He lost against S.Korea on penalties, his verdict was dismissal.
CQ lost against Iraq, his verdict was contract-extension another 4 years.

CQ was also stupid not to sub out Taremi in the QF vs China, when we were up 2-0 and the game was dead.
Instead Taremi got a yellow and missed the Japan game.

100%. Using only 15-16 out of 23 players during WC, resulting in tired players vs Bosnia is all his fault.
The squad he took to WC clearly showed his intention was to not lose all 3 games. Defeatist attitude right from the beginning.

Look the situation in Iran is very bad , in a perfect situation none of these ppl even CQ would not be a candidate…

because we have very limited options from the options that are there CQ is better …

but that doesn’t mean he is good for us , I personally like his discipline and leadership but his tactics are way outdated we will not fool anyone , if he still around for WC 2026 , we still going to park the bus …

You need to have a player at Mbappe level as a forward on your team for CQ tactics to works

In fact this qualifies him as the worst.
Failing 3 times while the rest only failed 1 time.
A win here and there doesn't change the fact, because he couldn't get us out of the group.
