List of young and promising Iranian players for the next world cup

We had a relatively old squad for this world cup and it is natural that some players will be sorted out or leave the national team. The most promising youngstar I have in my mind right now is Sayyadmanesh and maybe Hosseinzadeh. Do you guys know more promising players who have the potential to play a key role in our future Team Melli squad?

4 years ago, shekari, shariati, delfi, salimi were promising. They completely disappeared

        Yeah indeed....

Our u17 team from 2017 that reached the semis in u17 WC that year, damn i had high hopes for the future, but there is no hope in I.R IRAN.

What about Mohebi? He is currently loaned out to Esteghlal and it was quite disappointing that he did not try to stay in Portugal for another season. Do you guys think that he will stay in the Iranian league or does he have the potential to shine in Europe?

I hope mohebbi and ghaedi get their shit together.

We really have a great raw talent pool overall.

But even if you have a Ferrari and let a blind individual drive it ( I.R) the car will never win a race, only crash.

There is only Sayyadmanesh. Hosseinzadeh tbd. Salmani bigger tbd. Barzegar… at 20 he can’t get on the field in IPL and failed at 3-4 teams last season… Mohebbi failed in Portugal. Ghaedi failed in Emirates.

Whether these make it through the youth systems time will tell but
                Daniel Henareh
                Milad Nejad
                Shahin Biniazz
                Sadeghi brothers

These are probably best of the ones in European youth systems.

There is also the guys in Poland.

Before you turn this political, what did IFF do to develop our U17 players? Imagine the U17 players giving it everything they got, yet IFF and TM staff keeps using the same players over and over again? Instead of giving youngsters a chance?

Our dear CQ couldn't even play some of the newer CBs we had, and reverted back to his WC2014, WC2018 players, setting the precedent to our younger talent that no matter how hard you work, you aren't going to crack into the TM lineup.

                    https://golbezanpodcast.com/news/top...n-u23-talents/

This. was a list I made with Iran football scout last year. As always with young guys, things have changed, but I think the top 5 remain the same.

Khodabandelou, Fallah, Yasin Salmani, Hosseinzadeh, Allahyar.

Also Yadegar Rostami is here at #10. He is already making matchday squads for pogon szczesin, tied for 3rd in polish top flight, so would definitely be higher if we did the list today. Critically he has developed into a central midfielder since moving there...

We really need to rejuvenate the mid line as much as possible. Azmoun and taremi are very high level forwards, we know that and their CL records prove it. Next WC we need azmoun to be in top shape. On the wings I think we also have quality. Gholizadeh, Allahyar, Torabi, Mohebbi is quite a solid selection.

I think Ezatolahi really needs to step up his career for us at DM spot. He showed he is absolutely a high level DM again this WC, even playing at vejle. We need to build around him with 2 really energetic, high work rate, but technically solid CMs. Khodabandelou, Yadegar, Yasin, Hosseinzadeh should all be candidates for this.

In the back again I think we are ok. Jalali should take over LB spot asap, milad will drop out from the squad. CBs Fallah will replace Shoja, Majid will get better, Kanani will only be 32. RB thankfully is secured with Moharrami and younger backup Hardani.

Overall it would be a major plus if the U17 and u20 can make their respective WCs, it has been too long we are not participating in those competitions (since chamanian u17 side, which introduced 4-5 major talents to our football, not all have panned out but Allahyar, Hosseinzadeh making it to TM is good). These 2 teams have good chance to do so after work of Abdi and Marfavi. BC of our fucked up league best chance young talents have is to show themselves really well at u17 or u20 WC and then immediately transfer to europe.

U23 making olympics is different story.

From diaspora talent as mentioned above: Best one is Milad Nejad, hamburg u21 now. He is really highly rated DM/CM. Henareh the GK is playing for best swedish youth team AIK. Rest are probably a long shot right now to have any impact in 2026.

By far our most interesting prospect - who can get into TM now!

                        Lucas Assadi

                        Age: 18
                        Position: Striker

Already the Chile U-20 has called him up. Already the Chile U-20 has called him up. Chile national team called him up for November friendlies, he played as a sub vs. Slovakia.

So maybe it's too late ...

If we have CQ, he can try his best to get him. But Iran's brand right now is at an all-time low, it would be a dream to get him at this point

He's widely talented. Burnley, Valencia, and Bayer Leverkusen want this player.

                        Has Iranian lineage.

And it’s one that does not grant freedoms of any kind, or accommodate people’s demands in any way. What is increasingly clear is that there is clear demand for change in the regime. What the people want is regime change, and no return to the past. There is a very real possibility of regime change." - Nasrin Sotoudeh

Why on earth would he choose the shithole I.R over Chile?

Like most of our players - they choose Iran, not IR.
