Regime change will open many doors for our TM, however we have seen sports like volleyball excel from a grassroots level despite garbage government.
Similar long term planning is a must form our football.

I still surprised how we could develop volleyball from 0 to top 8 of the world.

Cause there is no money to steal in Volleyball, no dalal bazi , no parti bazi ….

they just brought a World class coach and let him work with the team for 8 years without any hashe plus had Iranian coaches work close with the team as well ….

we have a lot of talent just zero development skills that was what they determined was the main problem with the volleyball team so they made sure to incorporate more youth players in the league as well as National team

Extensive youth scouting to find very good players.

Support of youth teams so that good talent is always getting a chance to learn and gain experience and ultimately be ready for the national team.

Consistent leadership and vision.

A good league that has values it doesn’t compromise on.

But let’s be serious man volleyball can’t cause a revolution to happen man … even if we win the World Cup of volleyball not that many ppl will care

But image we win a World Cup , there be massive pandemonium in the whole country ppl will be out celebrating parting it be crazy , IRI doesn’t like that ,

look they banned fans from league games , what is football without the fans … ????!!?!

IRI wants this cycle to continue, we good enough to qualify but never good enough to actually go into the round of 16…

they want to give the fans a bit of hope then crush the shit out of it right in the end so no one is ever happy

I agree.

One of the casualties of IR has been our general culture (including our footballing culture) - which has gone to shit in the past 43 years bro.

We will overcome and rise again.

Youre very correct in creating the comparison to other Asian teams, which have much more organization, and professionalism and are not isolated from the world. This is why I think people need to stop setting their expectations so high, it's just not as possible to succeed given the structure put around TM and this government
