If we are talking AC 2024 - I think we can transition and give a couple of the players you've mentioned a chance to finish their career with glory.

For me the big variable is who will be our midfielders in AC 2024. Defenders can play until they're 35 and keep form.

Torabi/Sayyadmanesh Gholi

In friendlies and less important group games, the following players need to slowly be phased in:

Defense:
Milad Kor
Saman Fallah
Janmaleki

Midfield:
Sadeghi (from Esteghlal)
Hosseinzadeh
Rostami (from Poland, if he's made it to starting 11 in Poland by then)

Forwards:
none I can think of that really can even be compared to Taremi and Azmoun.

I am sure other players pop up.

This is Iran, because of conscription and clubs not trusting young players, alot of players start blossoming when they're 25/26. Look at guys like Daei, Taremi, Amiri, Ebrahimi, ...

By 2026 - I think we can phase 1 more in, and perhaps start Taremi on the bench, using him as a super sub.

Ultimately, with today's insane football, it's become clear to me technique is nowhere near as important as physical conditioning and the ability to play presses

Which become bench warmers and forget how to play.
Keep all the players in pgl and only ellit players get transfer..

RAMIN his transfer to Arab league killed his soccer life, only got rejuvenated when he returned to pgl.

We have the talent, but bottom line is the fitness, and particularly for our key players like Azmoun and Eza

If this team can compete with Japan, Korea, Australia, Saudi just in terms of fitness, we win the Asian Cup no doubt about it

This is should be CQ's job from now until the tournament

Torabi over Allahyar and Ramin over Sadegh?

Yes, Ramin was one of our best players at the WC and Torabi looked dangerous and should have played more in the WC. Allahyar still needs time to prove himself as a bonifide starter for TM and is coming off an injury. Allahyar is very good and could prove himself from now until then but that remains to be seen.

Pgl has severaL things which other nations lack, team or city traditions
pure raw talent, crowd, passion,intensity,drama
all things need it to have great league which money can't buy.

pgl needs to add
Better Fields,better camera work,, var, better managment
which all of above money can buy.

Stadiums have improved a lot but not where it can be and salary for coaches and players are top notch

I can't wait till the league begins again
