I, for one, am not happy we moved on from CQ. I rather have CQ over GN as the head coach from now until eternity.

I think it’s your black & white mentality that prevents you from acknowledging the mark CQ left on our football. You have to remember how limited our footballing infrastructure is, and the expectations should be incremental, and realistic.
Football is black and white mentality, that’s the harsh reality. You don’t get results, you’re out. But he prolonged his stay, and it cost us failure after failure.
You remember Di Matteo? He got Chelsea their first CL out of nothing, but he was fired next season after a couple of bad results. That’s the harsh reality. Not only did CQ not get us anything, he also unfortunately got to stay as a reward. Hopefully we have learned our lesson and never make the same mistake. But reading some posts here, it looks like some haven’t.Esteghlal 💙💙

There is a prophecy at page 26, chapter 5, in the Book of Taj.
Prophecy goes like this:
Maj 23 2026 Approximately 14 days before TM first game vs Cameron.
General, Sardar and Kanaani gets caught in Mexican dirty back alley "checking out facilities". All gets fired from the squad in a big hooker scandal.
May 26 2026 Agha Oracle makes a midnight phonecall to Mehdi Taj residence and CQ now at the age of 73, is presented the next morning, approximately at 10.00 local time Tehran, as new head coach. He will land the same day in Mexico City to coach TM at WC.
Prophecy say that it will be called, The coup of summer 2026 ska CQ vs Agha General.
TM tops the group after three 1-0 wins in the group. Taremi x 2 and Ghaedi x 1 goal.
Azadi complex gets new statue of CQ.
--------------
Very similar procedure to PFDC coup de etat errrr 2022 CQ vs Armani Bademjoon 🫡🍅🍆😎

Not sure anyone can realistically doubt what he did for our football, but i think it's the best time for him to part

“Congratulations for this performance [vs. Mexico]. Great team effort and attitude. The result rewarded your will to win and your fighting spirit against all the odds."
“Certainly, we still have a long way to go, to be where we want to be. But for sure we are not where we start. Do we change? No, we are growing up. Let’s keep humble and be ready for the next one.”

The other thing that we can all agree on is that we’re now interested in Qatari football! I didn’t give two Shiites about this before Sunni, but now I may watch the Qatar-Panama game today just to see what happens. Look I’m rooting for his success, I really am. But I don’t want him near our national team anymore.
