Colombia had horrible players when he talked over..they didn't have enough patient with him
and fired him after 4 matches and failed to meet wc, cq would of pull it out of a$$ 2022wc with 14 mat c he's remaining, big mistake by cfa.

Of african cup against world class senegal team, and got a horrible draw to play against
world class Senegal in wcq which went down the wire , that was horrible Egypt team when he tied over and got maxed out of them.
then pfdc brought him to coach tm for 2022 wc,
he beat Uruguay and tied world class Senegal,
then irN revolution happen and everyone turned on each other over tm and he still got 2-0 victory
against top 20 Wales team and was 1 point away from advancing from group of death all top 20 teams but because LAck of fan support players motivation was killed entering the last match.
just the fact tm got 3pt, clean sheet and 1st ever win against European team , it showed cq power of coaching under that circumstances.

One of the Qatar assistant coaches was red carded at the Mexico game, but it was very confusing as it was during a review for a potential red card for a Mexican player. The Qatar assistant was sent off, but I'm not sure if CQ got one after the final whistle??? CQ is also wearing a mask today so possible that he has COVID and protocol requires that he's not at the side line.

Either way, Qatar was missing him badly today.

Kateb, thanks for the response. I am a big fan of yours and always love reading your comments. You never fail to make me laugh with your awesome stories and jokes. It’s so cool getting a response from you. Regarding CQ, I understand everything you mentioned I just still think he’s a bit too hyped. A part of me also just feels sorry for Skocic and what happened to him. Seemed like we were better under him rather than Ghalenoi. Anyways, super cool to interact with you. Interesting, it looks like he's probably sick with COVID. De Saa got sent off in the Mexico game, he was also Iran's assistant coach for the 2022 WC.

I went back and checked during the Honduras game, and no yellow card for CQ. CQ got one during the Mexico game, so was checking for accumulation but seems it's not the case. Commentators didn't mention anything either unfortunately from what I heard

Will Qatar keep him for the Asian cup?

Our federation is so terrible at scouting other teams that we can't have a team we might meet change coaches so soon before the tournament. We'll be lost.

CQ tactics don’t work anymore , you just can’t train to defend for 90 minutes and pray and hope the other team has an off day and can’t score , most team now a days are too athletic and have enough individual talent to be able to break down defenses, so no way in hell you can just play defense for 90 min,

you need to have offense tactics also and attack to win games ,

CQ mindset is would have worked 20 years ago , but now NO it won’t work , even the weakest teams in the world play to win .

CQ discipline and professionalism and planing was world class , but his Tactics suck , he is a better as a technical director than as a coach now …

Tm job is extremely difficult.
the amount of pressure it exist due to news paper tabloids and fan interest on a daily bases is top 5
job among nt in the world in difficulty to survive. Coaches get fired after friendly lose or losing on pks . And all the changes come from fans pressure for tm.for cq to survive 8 years in the that hot seat
it means majority of fans wanted him, trust me if majority didn't want him he would of been gone a lot earlier than 2019.and even at 2019 majority wanted him to stay and post 2022wc majority wanted him to stay. With that kind POPULARITY AMONG FANS hype gets created automatically.

Base on Uzbekistan match only
since Russia, kenya,afg,kyr not matches can judge tm, but Uzbekistan is perfect match to judge him.
Our team even though it won the match we where really horrible first 20 minutes easily could of been 1-0 or 2-0 uzbak they also genuine. post before end of the half. Defense was horrible from right left and middle, against s.k Japan ksa Australia it would of been 3-0 at ht .. after goal we scored Uzbekistan had another great chance of scoring ....our goal was copy of skocic style of goal that power 5 Asian teams won't give up goal like that in big games, and we really didn't create much opportunities on offense either ND our defense made skocic look like defense genuis.with skocic tm was master of beating second class Asian teams like Uzbekistan level with ease, with ease with skocic we would advance to qf of ac, he just couldn't beat 1st class teams like s.k...I am hoping galenoie can beat a power 5 Asian team which skocic was not capable, but so far imo we played more dominating football with skocic against 2nd level Asian teams and Uzbekistan outplayed us which under skocic we never got dominated against second level Asian teams like Uzbekistan exposed tm defense and made some of our players look like yogurt...
