how dafauq is he gonna explain/excuse him starting the likes of outa form, rusty, coming off longterm injuries, havent played a TM game in a looong while PAG, Cheshmi, MilMo, fking AK..!!??
and he fking thought benching the likes of Kanani, Saeed, Saman, Shoja, in-form Torabi, Amiri, Gholi was'nt going to have a severe negative effect on potency of his TM..!!??

You know what's funny, at least 3 die hard CQ supporters have PMed me in the last few months to say "we got it wrong on CQ". Of course many are nostalgic but he doesn't have the same level of respect from fans unless they are so offside they can't see the bus leaving the stadium! How do we quantify that? I mean even polls here are often taken over by CQ mafia and outpouring of Katebian style propaganda. You can't objectify fan behavior...its all passion and subjectivity. Based on my experiences and reading the lines...the fact that you and not the typical CQ mafia is commenting on his behalf suggests to me people are learning he pulled a final scam on us...

Also nice diversion tactic. Let's focus on the subjective opinion and ignore the other important realities. The same ones we just criticized Cuper for and have used against Branko since 2006. Not that either are better than CQ in any way nor is CQ even better than them...classic example of CQoolaid drinking tactics.

Of course it does. If Renard had gone in with the mentality that there is no way in hell we are getting a result against Argentina, they would never have won. Also you are dead wrong if you believe the gap between KSA and Argentina is much smaller than Iran and England. In fact I say its greater.

With the right lineup and mentality we could have also performed a miracle against England.

I agree that they need to take their time finding the right coach one that gets the absolute most from our players.

Just from a raw talent perspective, please compare the England squad to the Argentine squad. There is a difference. The Argentine squad even has (at least) one MLS starter, who also started for them in at least one knockout round game. (Would have to go back and check) I don't think it's debatable if I were to say England's depth is much better than Argentina's.

Regardless, I am just curious as to what lineup you believe would have defeated England? I mean this sincerely; I too think that the starting lineup was wrong, but at the same time, I don't see any combination versus England that would have won the game for us. We were timid (across the board, except for perhaps Taremi); we couldn't string two passes together at times (understandably considering the difference in athleticism); and we rarely had possession to do anything.

Ya I am in the Ozone layer I guess to believe last gasp qualifying in Asia by the suppossed no. 1 team is to be praised. - EVERYBODY knows that almost tying Argentina (also known as losing to Argentina) was the greatest achievement of CQ. An Argentina team that became the runner up in that WC.

- EVERYBODY know that Saudi beating Argentina (also know as winning!!!) is no big deal and has nothing to do with their coaching. An Argentina that won the WC.

- EVERYBODY knows that losing to England 6-2 is a great achievement given that our players could not string two passes together.

- EVERYBODY knows that this same team that could not string two passes was considered by EVERYBODY to be our most talented generation as few as three months before WC when Skocic was in charge.

Now, if you started to ignore facts too, we might let you be part of EVERYBODY...
