Queiroz changed the trajectory of our football and deserves a statue for what he did, even if I was angry with his lack of understanding of the upset post Mahsa Amini murder. But from a football perspective he was the man for the nation (not perfect, many mistakes, but what we needed and the best person for the job).

But I don't want him back for TM coach, he made gold out of sand with previous squads but we really have nothing in defence or midfield at the moment. GN is fine and I hope will be the best option for us to stand a chance of Semi Final at the Asian Cup

There's literally zero reason to sack GN right now. I don't even like the guy, but you can't sack a guy who has 9 wins and 2 draws, one of which being a demolition of CQ.

Okay Qatar (asian champions) is not solomon Island, and iran is not France. So don't get it twister bro. CQ lost badly in 2nd half of that match. This is the same team that lost to netherland by 2 goals with different manager.

I'm a total CQ fan but definitely we need to move on. By moving on we will grow. GN should have his chance. If he does well, it would be great for TM and Iranian managers and if he fails, it will help bring about the generational change that we need. Either way we will be better off.

We gained a lot from CQ but after 8 years and two appointments, there is nothing more we will gain.

the problem people here including myself always want CQ back is because we never have had a coach better than him. If someone guarantees us that the IFF will bring a foreign coach that is better than CQ and has better achievements all CQ fans will let go of CQ trust me.
