Why on earth are we still talking about CQ in a future sense. He is the past.
I appreciated him for his first stint as our manager. His second proved his time with us should have been resigned to history, though I still believe Skocic would have done no better... I don't think CQ needs to be anywhere near the coaching set up again or in a back office or youth dev role.
But talk of coaches and foreign coaches is smoke and mirrors. Our bigger problem regarding national team football is our infrastructure, development of our youth players and pathways to first team mens football in an already subpar league and a dearth of coaches with respectable qualifications or any that want to play progressive football... all of this is the fault of a mismanaged federation under the thumb of a dictatorship.
Until there is meaningful change in the country, we just have to hope that when the Azmouns and Taremis of this current crop hang up their boots a generational talent appears to give us something to cheer about until he and his teammates inevitably let us down in the business end of competitions.

Just look at the progression of teams like Japan and USA and the fall of teams like Mexico.
Pre-planning/organization/efficiency pushes a country's football forward not relying on individual talent as you say
