So I went and looked at the stats for the past 20 years to see where we actually are.

If you want to view it from a points only perspective - CAF hasdone better since 2002.
If you want to view it from total advancements from the group stage, AFC has done better since 2002.

Yeah, we lost because of LB since Milad couldn't cover Dest and he served Pulisic the ball like it was ghorme sabzi and tadig on a platter (as usual). Kinda funny how 80% of our goals conceded last few years have all started from mostly left back and no coach ever looks at that position ever. Even when fans beg for milad/HJ to stop playing there 😂😂. I think the two times I ever saw LB decent was Jalali vs Uruguay and when Skocic played Vahid Amiri there

Afcon ship far more players to top leagues of europe .... hence the bigger hype surrounding that competition, especially during WCs..!!
well a bunch of those players are actually born and/or developed in Eu (outside of continent) then opt to play for an African team, cause that will guarantee them a better Int. career ... so then there is that to consider too..!!

Hyperbole, and loser statement. Not a failure at Egypt, and certainly not in Iran (for whom he has been the best manager to date).

The story of CQ is not so black and white.

What he did for Iran football was extraordinary. What he did for Egypt was pretty good. What he did for both Colombia and Qatar was shit

Carlos Queiroz may not have been Alex Ferguson, but he was for Iranian football. People forget Iran sucked! We had good players and did good in Asia. But Prior to Carlos Queiroz let me break it down.

1. World Cup- Iran got its first win in 1998. THEIR ONLY WIN FOR 20 years. Prior to CQ and after 98, we made 1/3 world cups (where we only got 1 point against Angola), falling in a group below North Korea. Since CQ arrived we qualified 3/3 and qualification has been relatively easy. The team has won twice and drew twice. We were unlucky not to make it to the second round in 2018 and admittingly underwhelming in 2022 (protests did effect moral). The team has players playing in Europe in top leagues and very competitive teams.

2. Asia, Like I said before Asian WCQ has been easier but since the 2004 Asian Cup Iran best finished has been the 2nd round. In 2015 under CQ the same happened but we can all agree the result was against us due to poor officiating not coaching. In 2019 we made our first Semi finals appearance in 15 years. We probably would have won a medal if they didn't get rid of the 3rd place game.

3. Player development. He brought order and structure to the national team, no more divas, no Rahmati, Karimi, Aghili. Players had to respect the coach no BS antics. I believe the players developed in this structure both at their clubs and in a way to make the national team. He changed many rules in Iran in training demands, player accommodation. He had their back and they had his.

He was the best coach we ever had, but all good things come to an end. Just like Wenger, sometimes you stay too long and become a villain

Europeans know this fact, Asians dont bargain if and if they do give you a good price, the goods is guaranteed broken for sure. Europeans know this for many hundred years and since forever so they gave up before even football started

Yet egypt is performing much better football now . It seems that CQ shat on egypt and left then they struggled for some time and now they got their shit together. So CQ didn't do shit for egypt.

Last 14 games and only 1 loss. They managed to beat Belgium (1st team) too.


Here how i put CQ:

Iran 2014-2018 Amazing . I loved him and i respect him for what he did in 2018.
Iran - 2019 Asian cup failed.
Colombia - Failed badly ( lost to 10 men ecuador by 6 goals)
Egypts - Failed . This was egypts golden generation that could've won African Cup.
Iran 2022 WC- Gand zand ! aberoo rizi kard ahmagh.
Qatar- Lost to GN by 4 goals . lol

His tactics are outdated and expired. Parking the bus and using physical players don't work anymore.

Failure at both Egypt & Iran.

I suspect you have fulfilled all your personal expectations already, since you hold a fraud like CQ in such high regard, after failing in 5 straight tournaments for us lol.
