Best part of bringing CQ back is he'd be able to create the next generation of players like he did with this current crop that's on a lifeline.

A few options we have for the future:

CQ contract till asian cup 2027, let him build a unit LONG TERM

Morais contract till 2027

Bento contract till 2027

Best scenario of all, CQ technical director of TM and Morais HC.

Any of these options, we need to let them have job security for the long run so they don't rush to get good results quickly. After this era of players, we must be patient. Bottom line though, is GN needs to be sacked absent a semi final run MINIMUM. And even then, this team has major flaws with regard to coaching to the point where unless there is a final appearance, I would probably fire him regardless. Better options are available that are familiar with Asian football internationally and have achieved success.

I would sign GN till WC 2026 if we beat Japan. The thing is this team needs STABILITY. We've gone through 4 coaches in four years. GN already said he will focus more on youth after the AC so we will have probably have some new blood by then for sure. I would rather CQ take over our U23 but I don't think he would accept that job.

fact is he has had his chance twice already & still has way too many enemies in Iran football & khodesham ke kheyli yekdandeh yo kinehee & his coaching tactics are way past expiration date too ..!

I could possibly still stomach him in a more organizational/Taj role solely cause that’s where his strengths lie ..!
