Before Asian cup friendlies should be about creating a team that understands each other and has potential to grow into the WCQs. If we want to be serious about winning the Asian cup we need to practice several things including link up play(moving the ball forward), beating a press and creating chances.
IT SHOULD NOT BE A PLACE FOR PLAYERS TO PRACTICE DRIBBLES ETC.
Looking at the list of teams if pots were to stay right now these are your POT2 and 3
Pot 2: Iraq, UAE, Oman, China, Syria, Vietnam
Pot 3: Lebanon, Uzbekistan, Jordan, Bahrain, Palestine, Kyrgyzstan.
These are the teams we need to beat to get 1st place in group and the teams we will play in R16 and even in Quarterfinals possibly. We need to work on our team in the above things I mentioned.. again.. Link Up Play, Beating a press, and creating consistent chances. I'll leave conversion to our forwards because that is on them. We have to assume every team from Pot 2-4 will either try to press us and score on mistakes or park the bus. That means we need to be quick on the ball.
Practice moving the ball to the wings and getting our fullbacks/wingers in good positions to whip in crosses.
Practice triangle passes to get past the midfield and run at their defenders in formation. Practice shots from outside the box as well as set piece patterns.
PRACTICE PENALTIES.
What are the most likely changes to make in the game? Azmoun off for...? Torabi on for....?
Work on situational management. What do we do if we have a red card in the game. What is the plan? What do we do if ref is against us? Keep cool heads.
Take each opponent seriously. Don't relax until we are up by 3 goals. Practice game management if we are leading.
All of this is more important than the score of the friendlies. If we lose to Russia but came up with ways to cross into the box, triangle passing, finishing set pieces and chances etc I am confident we will wreck our group stage and R16. Luck is always part of winning a tournament but there are things to increase our chances like the above.
Above all, We are IRAN, other teams know that and they either hate us and/or fear us. Play on that.

Saeed ezatolahi, joined golizadeh, shoja and kanani, and Ahmad noor in tm camp..
If Saeed get in shape with his experience
He will dominate until 2027 ac and possibly pushing it but possible if he stay in shape
Be our capitan in 2030 wc...
he must hire personal chef, it will prolong his career as well.
