But w don't do that.

We always try to come to these tournaments and try to win. And we don't win at the youth level nor win at the senior level either. So everything evolves correctly and the path of not winning trophies is maintained. 🤷

I think some people just don't want to admit that Iraq's youth is currently much better than ours. And yes, I know about Iraq's use of overage players, and I was the one who would highlight it here all the time. But they have changed and use properly aged players now. Plus, they have ridiculous stock of European youth players that they are not even using for this tournament.

I won't lie to myself to make myself feel better. IR Iran's teams are in the gutter and this will only be exacerbated by the "Iranian Sir Alex Ferguson" Amir Ghalneoi. We have wasted the Mehdi Taremi and Sardar Azmoun generation.
the current Iraqi team u20 is still using overage players right now.

Iraq has emerged from the rubble of the US invasion like a lion (in many aspects, including sports).

Meanwhile, after 40 years of excluding women fans from TM matches, IR put them in cages in Azadi and calls it equality.

Iraq has historically performed well at youth Asian cups for the past decade+, but seems to really struggle translating that into senior NT success of late. Their performance in our qualifying group was pretty embarassing…

still congrats to them and hope their new coach can blood in some of their talented youngsters successfully

Go check out Hasanin Mubarak’s Twitter account. Their captain is an age fraud. Most of the team probably are. They’re just getting better at hiding. This age fraud is why their success at the youth level doesn’t translate to higher levels.

And it’s one that does not grant freedoms of any kind, or accommodate people’s demands in any way. What is increasingly clear is that there is clear demand for change in the regime. What the people want is regime change, and no return to the past. There is a very real possibility of regime change." - Nasrin Sotoudeh

Tm should file a complaint on Iraq.
DNA test of iraqi player nokhodi said is over age,
might put tm u20 in the wc.

Being down agaunst australia offcourse is all attack now that don't mean nothing...

one thing you will realize eventually , and I see u have same confusion on tm senior as well,
                    when playing an opponent
                    that is stronger than you,
Playing defense increase the chances of wining,
It's not tarsooo, it's giving your underdog team a chance to win. playing with 5 backs defense was strength of the team ,that game plan was pk shoot out , not bad strategy for an under dog(in youth soccer we are under dogs to Iraq, like it or not)

I am not trying to change your miyour btw , I used to think like you 20,25 years ago, eventually i got reality who we are as soccer nation..maybe in 10-15 years u agree with me...right now u won't agree with me and I don't blame you...
Meeting Iraq in GS is the same as Iraq in QF. They will not turn into Brazil because it’s a QF. Iraq was not stronger than Qatar or Vietnam. I watched Iraq games in GS, they sucked.

You make the same mistake Marfavi did. That mistake is thinking we’re worse than Iraq and playing them like they’re Brazil. If we played the same as GS , we would have beaten them with 1-2 goals.

I won’t change this mindset Kateb jan. Hopefully you change your mindset back to the way it was 20-25 years ago.

Wow milad kor did an interview which never seen
from u20 player ever.i couldn't believe my eyes what I was reading.

He said he should of been the capitan, , and the reason he wasn't, because both head coach marfavi and capitan are from khozestan. .

He said he told the players due to not getting their bonuses not to practice the day before Iraq match,
they eventually just showed up and broke sweat.

He said they wouldn't take team to pool because there where girls at the pool.

He said all the coaches on marfavi staff would talk bad about other coaches to players.

He said marfavi was reason for the failure.

He said they burned the golden generation of his era.

He said they won couple matches becausebof players and put tm losing to iraq on marfavi

                            He said majedi was great.

He said players had no motivation because of difference in bonuses with other teams.
qatar 15 k dollors if they beat iran
                            Iraq 6k dollors.
Iran 5 million toman i think is 100$.

And he said many many other things
                            full interview v3.
