Why are you surprised? This is only natural considering what those countries also put into their team. Their national teams don't have to face all the hurdles Iran does. The playing field is not level, neither is the input, so of course the output will also be subpar compared to other Asian teams.

Something Morocco (and also Algerians) understand but not iranians is that the importance of euro legionnaires and foreign born binational.

Moroccan players are on another level than our players. They also have their roots in top European academies and clubs. We beat a strong Morocco team in 2018 under CQ btw ... were we playing scared then too?
