PGL best players > Euro bench warmers.

Mohebbi for example was a big disappointment and was wasting his talent on the bench in Portugal.
Ever since he got back to Esteghlal his level has improved, and we all saw how good he was against Russia.

PGL is becoming better & better each year.
With the level of PGL in 2023, no 2nd league belgian player can get into the starting lineup of TM.
In 2012 that was possible, not in 2023.

Ziyech is a benchwarmer in his club but is an important player for his NT. Fortunately for them, Moroccans understands the importance of Europe, unfortunately for us, we don't. CQ too when he called Dejagah and Gucci to help us to the legionnaires and generational drought GN took us.

I don't buy the euro benchwarmer < pgl starters. Even Beiro said level and training in belgium was something else.
You may think Mohebi progressed with his return in SS but that's because he play against a weaker opposition than in Iran. And if he did, he can thank the 20min he played against Benfica and such.

I don't know if IPL progress. Maybe they did, thanks to foreign coaches and players. But progress or not, the level is still very low. I still see typical iranian and amateur things there, not to mention BS around the league. Nothing proves IPL progress to a decent level.

I am deeply disappointed that we had such a great football manager in CQ who built a successful program that led to improvements, but instead of building on that progress, we have regressed 15 years with Amir Ghaleneoi. CQ's time was up, I get it but we should have built on that. For me, being optimistic about this situation that doesn't seem to deserve it is difficult, and I don't see a positive outcome.

Look, I hope we succeed with Amir Ghaleneoi like the rest of you, especially after he crapped all over the Islamic Republic on a live interview - I just feel I am a bit more realistic cause I don't see tactical game plan from him. We said the same thing with Samad Marfavi, and we saw how that turned out with our U20s ... I feel they are both on the same trajectory.

Samad messed up big time when it mattered by playing fotbale tarsoo. Otherwise things were looking great after GS.

Ghalenoei can’t make the same mistake as 16 years ago and must continue to play offensive in KO-stages this time. He’s much more experienced than Marfavi, so i’m not worried.

players went on a strike for bonus money day before the qf match with iraq. Then they decide to just show up to practice to break a sweat . Players had conterversy with eachother over who should of been a capitan. ..marfavi like skocic had lost control over the players...of course not going to win a match for right going to wc under these circumstances.
