AFC U17 Asian cup 2023

Uzbekistan has been investing a lot in football. They have been hosting multiple tournaments. This year (2022-2023) they have hosted CAFA, U23 , U20 etc...

You can see their improvements in U20 too. They just won AFC Asian cup U20 -2023 . In 2018 they didn't even have a team . 2016 kicked out in QF by us. 2014 got embrassed by North Korea in Semi by 5 goals.

Same goes to their U23 - They became runners up in AFC asian cup U23 - 2022.

But i think what you said applies to iraq. Iraq almost does well in most of their youth national team tournaments but fails to do anything in their senior national team. Correct me if i'm wrong but iraq has won Asian cup with their U16(17), U20 and U23 in past 10 years. Yet fails to have any decent player in europe.

Iraq is their own unique case. They commit so much age fraud that their results don’t mean much. They send 20-23 year olds to play as 16 year olds.

Yes, and also our u17 team did really well in the u17 wc in 2017 whit Allahyar, Taha etc, we beat Germany 4-0 in the groupstage and went on to the semis if i am not mistaken and got eliminated by Spain
