damn missed the game...!! :/ anywhere to watch the SK game on replay..?

watched only some 30min or so from the gutter match and they looked a well organized and intelligent playing side..!!
they seemed especially impressive in transition play in midfield although struggled mightily in the final 3rd of the pitch with rather careless, silly final touches and weak shots on goal ..!

as a Team they looked a better coached and organized unit than the other side coached by chamnian..and seemingly more talented bunch, especially in MF areas..!!
im pretty sure they'll make the WC and if not get fked with a tough draw they'll probably advance further than the last TM u17..!
Now watch them get cocky and beaten by freaking Yemen...!! Not

Wow I watched the highlights and Iran was definitely the better team having created more scoring chances and scoring 2 beautiful goals. I was shocked because Korea's youth typically plays great football. 👏🏻👏🏻👌🏻

Keano jan apparently Korea used their B squad against us. Regardless of that we played well and congrats to our boys. But i think if they had their A team things would've been different. He did sub in some of the A team around 60th minute.

Kudos to their manager that even at this stage he is trying new players while we cant even do that in CAFA. I still dono why Zahedi didn't get any play time in CAFA

Milad jan at U-17 level what the heck does B and A squad even mean.
It sounds like excuses by the Koreans. 90% of the time their youth teams beat us so they need an excuse.

Thanks Milad jaan, I was thinking if that is the case. But at the same time as Nokhodi jaan said, that is a lame excuse for the Korean coach to justify the loss. Nevertheless a great display by our boys

the difference between their xi's vs qatar and iran was 3 players.

Those guys were all subbed in between min 50-60. It made little difference in terms of the flow of the game, we still made countless chances once those guys entered and limited the koreans to one clear cut opening at the end that our gk saved well

I'm surprised that India actually scored 4 goals against Japan. India has improved a lot.

Highlights of South Korea vs Iran

Iran played very well and are physically strong.

South Korea's coach doesn't have experience in coaching a professional team. Previously, he coached a celebrity team of national athletes from various sports such as swimming and mma. These videos show the day when his team faced a Korean women's professional team from the WK League.

#EDIT - I just realized that the national team's coach is not the one I was thinking about. They look very similar. Anyway, here are the videos of the amateur team who played against the professional women's team:

I totally Agree with you, but my point was regarding their coach who tested new players. I don't think their coach said anything about fielding their B squad. Nevertheless I applaud our players for their win.

Their main task will be against Japan(maybe AUS). IF we beat Japan/AUS i think its safe to say that we will meet with SK again in the final, if not the saudies. I feel like SK will lose against Thailand.

Well actually 4 +2 ( plus 1 if you also count afghanistan game) players and 3 of them were their top scorers. So 5 of their starters (3 were their top goal scorers). But as I said before: congrats to our boys for this win and well deserved.

                    FYI (4+2): 6 Players

                    Do-Young - 3 goals
                    Myung-Jun - 3 Goals
                    Hyun-Sub - 1 Goal
Min-Hyuk - Started against both teams
                    -
Seung-Soo - (started against Afghanistan and subed in against qatar)
Chang-Woo - (started against Afghanistan and subed in against qatar)

BTW: I was only pointing out the fact that he tested out new players and rested those players. Thats all I was pointing to.

watched the replay of the game finally
for the initial 20min or less of the game SK looked the overall more polished and organized (tidier passing and moving ) team but in essence they got out-coached and tactically maneuvered by us in this game..!!
after we scored that brace in quick succession, boy's confidence also got a massive boost and from there on we pretty much controlled the proceedings and admirably kept tactical discipline and kept sk bottled in for most part till the ending whistle..!

the SK keeper seemed way too fat for his own good, shoulda save the first goal which effectively set-off their demise.... but outside that they really dont have any legit argument against our boys overall commanding performance in the win..!
game had a potential of being a much tighter affair had they not conceded that first goal..!

from my vague recollections from just this match, our numbers 9, 10, 18, 2 and 7 (and 5? possibly? ) looked the more promising talents, with our Number#7 being the overall Stand-out talent of the bunch...!
sk number 7 coming off the bench was the only one that had a positive impact on this match and almost scored on a solo run which our keeper did well to save..! none of our late subs overall looked close to the standards of our starters to me, suggesting we dont particularly have as much depth of talent as the koreans..!!?

We are playing terribly. Yemen has been better so far.

                                Yemen with 60% ball possession.
This Abdi guy is about to make the same mistake as Marfavi, playing tarsoo football when it matters.
