No Iranian player should ever go to Charleroi , and if they do max 1 year and move to a better team ….
Golizadeh should have left after he had take break out season , look at victor osmineh , he just won the league with Napoli , but he stared at Charleroi and moved on , after 1 season there ..
You need to have real offers, not half a$$ media made.
Again, if he stays there for a few years, plays many games, then leaves it can still be beneficial for his development, better than PGPL and Foolad, and makes good money at the same time. Long term vision is what is important, does he want to be PAG or Taremi (but moving much earlier to europe), Kanani or Kim.
Current Sadd coach was Pep's assistant at City from 2020-2022 , replacing Arteta.
5 year contract is big and quite concerning though, apparently mansourian helped broker the deal...LOL.
Still from what I have seen from Hazbavi in terms of talent and ceiling he is up there. I just dont think his sample size is enough to get interest from any good development clubs in europe yet. Without connections of CQ or any other foreign coaches (at least sadegh had branko backing for dinamo transfer, same with Ali Karimi and Kranjcar), plus no games for TM senior team and no major competitions in a youth national side, it is hard to see him getting anything better than charleroi right now.
Now if Marfavi didnt shit the bed he would have been showcasing himself at u20 WC this week and making a much more impressive transfer over the summer
Is this a free transfer or was Foolad given a fee ?
if a free transfer it’s even more worse. Foolad raises and teaches him, and gets none of the financial benefits.
definitely not free, he had a contract for i think 2 more seasons. Thats why I think they jumped at Al Sadd offer, his hands may have been tied actually
