yea, i suppose so.... but probably only if Mehdi makes it very clear to Porto mgmt that he won't even be considering a contract extension with them...!!? remember Mehdi stands to gain a healthy chunk from his ensuing transfer fee outa porto.... so that is always an Additional incentive for Porto to keep hold of him for as long as possible..!! :/
Also his overall value to Porto is probably beyond 10-15mil worth per season....?
without his typical production they probably risk losing out on CL qualifications ? or at least direct qualification to CL and that by itself is millions worth..? plus clinching of all the other domestic titles to ensure their stay amongst the most elite clubs of portugal..!!

im fairly sure Mehdi originally agreed to a relatively meager salary with Porto, cause he was hoping to blow shitt up and then get some serious dosh from his ensuing transfer fee outa of the club .... not realizing that clause actually becoming a huge impediment to his more ambitious career advances as it did last year with Porto playing hardball in negotiations..!

he needs to realize there is the love for the club and fans and then there is a Business side to this that needs to be handled without attached Emotions to it..!! to facilitate a move as such to Milan he needs to put Taarof behind and not get suckered into an Porto extension..!

I don’t trust Milan to not F over Mehdi if they bring him in. If they are going after Thuram ahead of Mehdi then they clearly don’t know Mehdi’s value. And before anyone tries to point out the age difference save it please…..thuram isn’t worthy of tying Mehdi’s shoes they are on two completely different levels with a lot in between.

I think Beiro in SA would actually be a really decent move. High exposure there, good facilities, would be a locked down starter in a league with good competition from attacking lines of opposing teams. Good coaching. Worth it
