Are these games "official" FIFA games? If so, at least Taremi gets to pad his international goal scoring stats.

To play Taremi in this meaningless game is like putting a ferrari in nascar
he's in self-survival mode. He he knows he has no business being the coach of the national team, so his only hope is to have lop sided wins.

A worldclass coach does not need a win against Kyrgyzstan and afghanistan and will use these games as friendlies

Dude this is an official tournament and of course the head coach and the players want to win it. There is nothing wrong with playing Taremi, he gets to score goals and add to his international tally. Plus this tournament also serves as our preparation for the coming big tournament, the Asian Cup

The true value of these tournaments. Our defense remembering that you can’t be arrogant and fall asleep like that. Kyrgyzstan score an easy goal because our defenders think they don’t need to run.

Take every opponent seriously. The goshad attitude versus small teams is what always gets us in trouble.

                  Taremi hattrick

And it’s one that does not grant freedoms of any kind, or accommodate people’s demands in any way. What is increasingly clear is that there is clear demand for change in the regime. What the people want is regime change, and no return to the past. There is a very real possibility of regime change." - Nasrin Sotoudeh

wanting to win is very differerent from having to win.

The Asian Cup is also an official tournament and some, perhaps not you, but some may argue that it's even more important than CAFA and yet you see teams like S. Korea and Japan use it to test their up and coming young stars.

Azmoun is now in a game where we are up 3-1. Do we really need to see Azmoun pair up with Taremi in a game against Kyrgyzstan ?

All these teams except (afg/turkmen) are in Asian Cup next year, they are much better than the concacaf teams mexico/us play against

Our defence is horrendous. Beiro needs to keep switched on too.
