"This is a totalitarian system whose presence people feel in their blood and in their flesh on a daily basis. And it’s one that does not grant freedoms of any kind, or accommodate people’s demands in any way. What is increasingly clear is that there is clear demand for change in the regime. What the people want is regime change, and no return to the past. There is a very real possibility of regime change." - Nasrin Sotoudeh

GN is so bad, that unfortunately I don't lose my time watch his crap anymore. Just seeing He play Asadi and such, play our stars against very weak teams, sub in Mohebi instead of Zahedi and Hosseinzadeh is too much for me.
I was sure GN would bring us back to new lows, I didn't expect it come that early (almost a defeat against Kenya, get scored by Afghanistan, Kyrgyzstan..)

Not a high enough pace to really be considered for much analysis.
Taremi shows why he is so good - doesn’t need much to score. Makes his own goals.
Asadi at forward isn’t going to work. He had one amazing season at forward, but that’s an outlier. He’s really a CB/DM. Way too slow for football against better teams. Yeah I get he’s almost 2 m and looks like gigaChad but that doesn’t matter as much anymore in football.
Half the team was just messing around. What the f was hajisafi doing? Trying to yepa dopa in the front of the box like it’s his aunt’s house?
all in all when I consider what a long season it’s been, and how exhausted players are, maybe it’s better we’re not playing against some team that is going to have us on the run for 90 minutes straight.
let’s hope for some half decent friendlies in Sept and October - and more importantly that our key players stay healthy and maintain form.
the rest is luck.

We were promised a friendly game against belgium. Hopefully with the money laundering carried out by IFF in this tournament, they can now afford some nice friendly games against Top european teams like Belgium , Germany , Italy, or even Portugal. Our coach is from Italy maybe he can arrange a friendly for us against them.
Best friendly games in sept/oct =
Italy
Peru/Venezuela
Japan

belgium won’t happen because bayat is under a microscope in Europe, and authorities in Iran hate him because he’s “darbar”.
Italy hates friendlies. Would rather not play if it wasn’t for their sponsors.
peru/Venezuela/Japan. Maybe? But arent they already booked for games?
besides all rumors seem to be leading to the Jordan tournament in October , and a friendly with Saudi in September.
