Disagree about Barzegar. I know he scored a nice goal but Mohammad Reza Azadi in the league is better.

Barzegar wasn't good enough for PP, his belarus and kazakhstan teams. Salmani seems to be that typically fancy lazy Iranian player and Hazbavi proudly follows PAG Ghaedi AK celebrated footstep

Its development. At 16 all these guys were supper talented along with many other players we had over the years. The problem is that our talents do not develop in their most formative years.

Talented for what? Yes they may have been for talented for dribble but for the rest they were always plain shit : collective intelligence, smart choice, concentration, passing...

Under virtually no pressure, Barzegar gives up the ball in the middle of the field and leads to Jordan's best chance - nice save by keeper.

We can blame the coach but is he really responsible for so many unforced amateur individual mistakes?

Guys don’t stress it. Youth teams are not going to be good in Iran simply because most of our players don’t get proper coaching and experience until their mid 20s.

the moment our youth teams consistently get good results, will mean we finally have some decent planning and long term vision in our football.

Also what the heck happened to the pitch here ? Did they use the Iranian mafia to install?

Iran wins on penalties. On to the final. Hopefully on a pitch that isn’t made for growing potatoes.

Didn't watch game so cant comment, but keep in mind our team had 2 days of rest before last game vs palestine (palestine had 4) and again 2 days of rest before game vs Jordan (Jordan had 4 also).

For a group of players who do not all play regular mins during club 3 90 mins matches in 6 day span is going to be a major challenge.
