Honestly the game was poor ,I don’t see Uzbekistan’s as a high level opponent but they always showed that if they had lucky on their side today they could have score 2 or 3 goals today …

I don’t care about the Olympics , only the IRR does so when the opening ceremony happens they can have a huge looking caravan that is it , they don’t give a fuck if the teams or athletes do good anyway…

Kanaani is more a liability than an asset so is ramin and pouraligani and hajsafi , at this point I can’t see these players getting better in the next 2 to 3 years ., they are all past their PRIME….,

Saman Fallah and Amin Hazbavi need to be brought in NOW……

Okay so we have to give credit to GN for this win. His subs really worked well, Amiri and Mohebi changed the game for us. Our DF line was shaky but this was the same scenario in WC too so we need to work on that. Don't under estimate this uzbek team, they will be in top 4 Asian cup Full of talented players.

Positive points about this tournament:

10 goals out of 12 goals were scored by Open Play and thro passing. So no more bekesh ziresh football.
Sardar + Taremi combination is working great. The chemistry between the two is really high.
GN found out that Asadi is not TM material and hopefully GN won't invite Asadi again.
M.Karimi looks promising in our MD.
Cheshmi is starting to work well in our MD line.
Mohebi and amiri totally changed the game for us. My Koka Mohemi will be the next Taremi
With addition of Allahyar , Hazbavi , and possibly ghoddos this team has potential to win asian cup.
Gholizadeh , Ghoddos , and shoja were missed so badly.

Negative Points:
Zahedi was not tested. I still dono if he is worth it or not.
DF line is shocking. Pourali Sooti should not be used anymore.
PAG is not team melli material anymore. It all started after his injury in china.
We still haven't learnt to be professional. Its not just kanani, its other players too. I dono how we can fix this mentality, when even CQ couldn't fix it.
The transition between MD to attack is still slow. I saw Amiri being frastrated with our MD for not passing it quicky . Very slow transition.
Not manny new players were tested which i now totally understand why. GN is trying to build up the team chemistry for AC and right now its not the right time for testing new players.

Overall we should trust GN and support him all the way.

Unfortunately, I don't watch football any longer. This Uzbekistan squad is the weakest in my opinion. TM has always been a good representative of Asia in the WC. I noticed that we play against TM almost every year, once or twice at least, and the game is always interesting and intriguing to watch regardless of the score. I didn't expect a full stadium in today's final to be honest.

This is the most expensive uzbek team in their history, and its not just based on one player. This uzbek team has players in europe, Serie A , Turkey Premier league , Belarus and Russia. Lets not forget their talented player Masharipov. One of the most important thing about this team is their manager Katanec who never lost to CQ when he was in iraq. Litterally outclassed CQ in all matches.

Regarding S.Korea. Come on man after all this time being a football fan, you still look at the results and judge a team based on that? S.Korea dominated the game, tested few players and got draw in a crappy friendly game. They are still considered to be in Top 4.

Japan is the favorites and most probably will win it this year . However S. Korea , Iran , Uzbekistan have equal chance of winning it.

I see calls about integreting U23 players in the line up. For that we need a core and a direction.

So far GN have no added value, no direction, he just take the very same cq/skocic players in which he just add here and there some garbage players for "testing". Result, our play is a whole anarchy, saved by our stars here and there.
