    watch here:

Isfahan IRIB needs to be horsewhipped for these cameras.
I get they can't broadcast in HD, but the cameras are poor even 20 years ago!

He needs more muscle but so far he was excellent

The decision making was atrocious from what I saw….the only possession I saw was side to side or back passing for a few mins at a time….nothing going forward other than Torabi’s shot that hit the side net and someone in the rw (maybe sadeghi) skying the ball over the net when they could have dribbled the ball 19 yards closer or played a half decent ball on the ground.

so far in these opening two matches for me Persepolis has looked particularly bad….sepahan and Esteghlal look 20x better. Small sample size but just how I see it.
Did you see how many times Persepolis played out of pressure from the back?
Torabi missed at least 3 point blank chances
        Sarlak missed one.
Sadeghi played horribly but the play leading up to his horrible play was really good and spread the field wide.

Or the amount of times the team was able to control the game in the final 3rd?
        These are areas our football,

You are invested as a Persepolis fan, so naturally the bad plays are more on our mind, but I would say we play much better than the hoof and kick that Sepahan and Esteghlal are playing.

He was the team's best player and weird enough, the coach kept bringing him off the bench. Samad Marfavi was out of his depth.

We have tons of talent like this.
Every whines and cries that our football has no talent, but we don't see them because most coaches in Iran are too cowardly to play young players and get them the experience they need.

Also good to see Mohammad Ghorbani, teammate of Hosseinnejad in u20 also starting again. He is playing as the DM.

hosseinnejad is brilliant. Havent had this much fun watching an iranian in a while.

Shekari is also a good addition to this team, gives them another player capable of keeping the ball in tight spaces and making good decisions under pressure.

please no. Part of what makes him so good is his flexibility and speed - he is able to cover ground with and without ball very fast, and btw he is not weak, very wiry and not afraid to fly into tackles, not having issues in aerial duels or holding guys off.

By this logic types of odegaard etc badly need to put on muscle, reality is they don't and nobody asks them too!

Hosseinejad seems legit. Too bad he will get overlooked and guys like Soroush will get invited to TM before he does.

I trust your judgement and opinion more than my half assed on and off watching of the game so I will re-watch it on my flight back to east this week and reassess

Sepahan Vs Zob Ahan was a very entertaining match.

Sepahan was a well oiled machine. Playing really good in transition.

Zob Ahan also seemed organised team that was unlucky not to at least score a goal.
