Russia banned from WC and now you are noticing Fifa double standards?

But we are claiming rostov isnt good enough for a guy who ran away from a relegation level portuguese team after 6 months...
It's not that Russia isn't good enough for him, it's that he downgraded Portugal which is a far better league, for a significantly worse one...then there is the matter of war and sanctions etc which make that league even worse.

It might be that this is all he can achieve and it might be that he will be a late bloomer (like most Iranians it seems). But the trajectory has been downwards.

Hopefully he will find enough resources and self discipline to fulfill his promise.

Mohebi came on in the 58th minute vs. Zenit.

Rostov down 1-0. Game is ongoing.

"This is a totalitarian system whose presence people feel in their blood and in their flesh on a daily basis. And it’s one that does not grant freedoms of any kind, or accommodate people’s demands in any way. What is increasingly clear is that there is clear demand for change in the regime. What the people want is regime change, and no return to the past. There is a very real possibility of regime change." - Nasrin Sotoudeh

Rostov tied Zenit, 1-1. Good result for them.

Did not see the game, anyone did?

Power is his main weapon and that is why he still find offer from some European sides, he is not a great finisher or passer but can hustle and win battles due to his physical presence.

It's a great move. Infrastructure of RPL is much improved post WC. Rostov have a lot of talented young players, a highly experienced coach who was a legendary player for multiple la liga sides, and a great stadium. All of these factors give energy and motivation to a young guy like mohebbi. Today he played against one of the most talented CBs in world football, Robert Renan, zenit left sided CB. Zenit other cb was big Serbian talent they just signed. Compare to whatever the hell is going on in pgpl…

With allahyar seemingly going down the tubes and GN already trusting MM, I think this move can elevate him to fixed position in TM if he can break into xi and play well. Karpins opinion means a lot. By the way, on right side he is competing with alexei ionov, one of the veterans on their team, played in multiple WCs. He has to be on the top of his game and will be pushed much more in this environment.

And some people thought he was better staying in the PGPL. The training he is going through and the stadium, training facilities, conditioning regiments etc. are far better than anything he would have seen in Iran.
