He will move somewhere decent next season don't worry. His stock is high now after Japan game and his league performance.

BTW I feel like when I watch Mohebi play that we misuse him in TM? He looks much more dangerous centrally instead of on the wings. Maybe we need to play him more central and have someone else become take that winger position? I feel as though he's slowly becoming a centre-forward

I know he has not been very popular among the fans (me included), but I have to say, he is learning fast and putting it in good use even faster. He is intelligent unlike Kannani or Shoja who never learn.

He was totally on fire in that last Russian league game. I am happy for him. Maybe we can use him as centre forward and bring Taremi back to help our broken midfield.

I think Most-Improved is the best accolade you can give to a professional.
I was one of his doubters and critics I will 100% say he has made me eat my words. That performance from the highlights is absolutely phenomenal. I have never seen Sardar or Taremi have such excellent dribbles like that with good balance in such tight spaces. He is making me very optimistic. If he continues like this, with focus on refining his talents, a bigger European move seems inevitable.

Karpin used him in last match as target! I guess we can get best of him as target!

Now he scores two goals in the Russian league and suddenly a gush of positive commentary...how he is playing like Taremi and how the Russian league is so good for development and etc.

We are at once the most negative and over the top positive people!

I don't think that's the case - just that there were 95% of this forum hating on him and the others saying give him a chance as there are certain things he has which are quite unique, he reminded me as a younger version of his hamshahri in terms of unpolished gem. He is almost as awkward to play against.

95% hating on him before (scouring a few goals and AFC cup). Now 95% gushing over him.

My comment is not about Mohebi. It is about how we swing from one extreme to the opposite.

It not his fault AG has been playing him out of position, his natural place is being a number 9 , but in TM , we play the out of form Taremi in that position … so Mohebi had to play winger ….

It's going to take more a hand full of decent performances in a Sunday league for him to deserve the hype y'all giving him right now. Let's not forget that this guy can barely play football against mid-tier asian nations and consistently shows a footballing IQ and vision equal to that of fruit fly.

Once he puts in a whole solid season or two, then we can talk.

Yes... Full season regularly banging goals to get him a better team...then regularly banging goals to become the league's top scorer for a couple of years....then transfer to a top league so that he can become a regular benchwarmer. That is if he has the patience and work ethic and focus to stay the course instead of running away when things are looking down (like he did at Portugal).

Ahhhh... The life an Iranian talent!

Russian league is a joke. The two best players in the league were less fit than a 69 yr old chain smoker. Dzyuba went to Turkey and got kicked out after a month for being out of shape and Sardar has more injuries than goals since leaving. If Mammad could play football, he should’ve done it in Portugal.
